Home description
A large three bedroomed villa with private pool and patio which is beautifully stocked with many shrub beds a lawn and a pergola to take the shade by the pool. Two of the three bedrooms, one is a double, have their own bathrooms. The lounge is large 5.4 metres x 4.3 metres with views to the pool and orchard and has a wood burner and satelitte TV. There is a kitchen with all relevant equipment ,a pantry and utility room with washing machine and dryer.
The location of Monte,in a quiet rural setting allows you to reach the Spanish border in 1/2 hour ,the pretty town of Tavira in 20 minutes , Quita do Lago ,Almancil and the busy coast in 20 minutes and up to 30 golf courses in a hour . Sao Bras is two minutes away. Rio Formosa national park by the coast can be reached in 30 minutes.

The Algarve region
The Algarve can provide many different attractiions, excitement and fun things to do for all ages. The climate is fantastic with a picturesque coastline ,the mountains of Monchique, pretty villages and loads of things to do- two waterparks, water sports on the coast , river trips and deep see fishing. There are many great restaurants some amazingly cheap but food is fabulous, to those restaurants which would compete with the very best ,elsewhere in the world. For those that wish to spend time on a beach, there are many of a high standard at Vale de Lobo and Quita do Lago .The golf courses are by repute of the very best in the world and the area has a reputation for great walking holidays. Many of the villages away from the busy resorts have not lost their unique under-developed charm.
Rio Formosa on the coast is a natural world phenomenon with lots of wild life ,many wild plants and some fantastic walks.
Sao Bras de Alportel area
Sao Bras used to be the cork making capital of the world and the local museum has many artefacts and information explaining how the town and area has become established. North of the town are vast areas of unspoilt cork and Scrub oak forests which can be accessed up a long winding road with fantastic scenery.
Easter sunday has the festival where all the roads in the centre of town are decked with flowers for the procession to and from the church- an amazing beautiful sight.
The town ,with cobbled pavements ,has only in the last 5 years become more developed but still has a natural rural charm with many many outdoor cafes where locals and tourists sit to chat about their day.
There are two supermarkets well stocked for any visitor and many local portuguese shops selling anything you would expect in a small town.
How to get there
All budget airlines fly to Faro regularly during the spring/summer autumn months but BA and Easyjet fly every week all year.

Further details outdoors: A 10m x 4m pool with steps and is located above the level of the villa,connnected by a staircase with hand-rails. A pergola by the pool providing shade, a cold shower on the patio by the back door. A parasol, with 6 sun loungers and an outdoor table with six chairs .

Because the pool is above the level of the villa, a wheelchair user would find access to the pool area difficult.
A welcome arrival pack will be there for you on arrival. A honesty pantry is available for all the basics you may need eg. salt, pepper, marmalade etc please use and replace items as you see fit. Maid cleaning - linen change is once a week but can be arranged at an extra charge of £5 per hour. English seaking agent available to answer queries and we will provide contact details in case of emergency. Gardener and pool cleaner attend once a week.

Payment ,a 25% deposit to secure booking. Holiday to be paid for within 30 days of departure £250 damage deposit returned post holiday and dependant of villa inspection.
