Home description
Es Turo is a newly refurbished Mallorcan finca and is a fusion of traditional Spanish farmhouse with modern comfort and luxury. It has spectacular views and is built to live life outdoors in the sunshine. It comes with 4 spacious bedrooms, the master having a king size bed, it's own en-suite with bath, shower, toilet and double sinks, also a private terrace to watch the sun go down and Sky TV. There is a further large bedroom upstairs with twin beds and a further large bathroom with shower, bidet, toilet and double sinks. There are two more bedrooms on the ground floor with a further bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and double sinks. The lounge is very light and spacious with comfy sofa and chairs, large LCD TV with surround sound and Sky TV, a DVD player and a Playstation. The dining room is situated between the lounge and the kitchen and has a large oak table and cream leather dining chairs. Both the lounge and dining room have french patio doors leading onto the covered terrace and out onto the garden and pool. The kitchen is equipped with all the latest gadgets and all appliances are stainless steel. There is also a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. Outside is a fabulous outside kitchen complete with sink, fridge and barbeque which is great for eating "al fresco".
The finca is suitable for eldery clients as there are two bedrooms on the ground floor, and a bathroom. But it is also great for children to play and the pool has a gentle slope with steps leading into the shallow end. There is an electric gate to the property, an alarm system, security lighting and a safe deposit box for your security.

The Mallorca/Majorca region
Mallorca is one of the most beautiful islands in Europe. Here you can enjoy mountains, sea and rural views all at once. The whole island only takes an hour and a half to drive from North to South and has plenty of lovely places to visit from old Mallorcan farmhouse museums, vineyards, markets, water parks, a choice of over 18 golf courses (2 courses are approximately a 15 minute drive away) and Flamenco shows. There is walking, cycling, swimming, climbing, caving, diving and all sorts of sailing to be had all over the island.
The south eastern corner has some absolutely gorgeous beaches - long, white sandy beaches and clear, clean water, great for the children to swim in - they have been likened to beaches in the Caribbean!!
Santanyi area
Santanyi is situated on the south east coast of Mallorca. Here the Mallorcan native language is still spoken! There is a market held twice a week which sells local sea salt products, fruit and vegetables grown locally, flowers, and beautiful handmade jewellery. There is also the opportunity to get yourself a lovely leather handbag or belt. Markets are also held in most of the villages once or twice a week.
A huge selection of fine restaurants are situated in Santanyi and the nearby villages and the food is excellent. A folder in the property details the telephone numbers and addresses of our favourites. There are also a number of restaurants that provide take-aways.
How to get there
Most budget airlines fly to Mallorca from most UK and European airports. The flight to Mallorca from the UK is approximately 2 hours.
Palma Airport is approximately 50km and just a 30 minute drive. Likewise with the Ferry Port in Palma.
A hire car is essential as it gives you the opportunity to explore the beautiful island.

Further details indoors: There is a range of dining options - the dining room has a large oak table and six leather chairs, the kitchen has a large stainless steel table and four stools, and the outdoor kitchen has a very large wooden table with eight chairs.
The property has been finished with ultimate taste and this is reflected in the luxurious furnishings, artwork, fixtures and fittings. A great atmosphere to spend your well earned holiday.
There are two additional single beds that can be used - making sleeping accommodation for 10 people.
Further details outdoors: The property boasts beautiful landscaped gardens (around 3 acres), lawn, outside "chill out" area to enjoy a cool drink, fabulous outside kitchen, swimming pool and panoramic views over the mountain range to watch the sunset - what more could you ask for?
The property has not been specially adapted for wheelchair users, however, it does have a terrace which runs around the front, side and back of the finca and which leads to the shaded terrace where the lawn and pool are situated.
On entering through the electric gates you approach the property down a long, gravelled drive surrounded by beautiful, landscaped gardens with flowering shrubs. The back of the property features the formal garden with a beautiful palm tree which can be lit in the evenings, along with the pool and outdoor kitchen. The rest of the garden features a variety of fruit trees including lemons which can be picked and used for your own use.

Please note that rental prices are inclusive of:- Electricity Water Air Conditioning Heating Bed Linen Towels for bathroom use (please provide your own beach towels) Cleaning before and after and your stay (however if you require a maid service during your stay this can be arranged at an extra cost).
Conditions
We would ask for a returnable deposit which is required when making the booking. The balance of payment would be due 8 weeks before the start of your holiday. Also a security deposit would be required to cover any damage or breakages. This would be returned to you once the property has been checked after you leave if there is no serious damage to the property. Cancellation charges will be incurred.
