About the home

The "Residence La Contessa" is located just 5 minutes’ walk from the beach and the centre of Santa Teresa di gallura. Quiet and peaceful, has easy access to all amenities, including local excellent restaurants, markets, nice local shops and the cinema.

For those who want to feel like home but loves the sea and whant to discover day by day new and quiet beaches or would make excursions with the boats that starts from the Port of Santa Teresa only 1 km far from the complex.

The apartment is composed from living room (tv, decoder) with or not double sofa bed, kitchenette, badroom with matrimonial bed, bathroom. All our apartment have a perfectly equipped kitchen with all you need (dishes, glasses, spoons, knives, forks, pans) and furnished with fridge, freezer, gas cooker and owen. Parking free in the public street, laundry room in the residence. Balcony or terrace sea view in request.

The Sardinia region

The beaches, running after one another in the almost 2000 kilometres of coast, sometime interrupted by rocky formations and port constructions, frame real paradise-like corners.
Surround the coasts of Sardinia, appearing whilst travelling on the waters or as an outline on the horizon from some bay of the mother island. The small islands of Sardinia are many.

Simple but rich in their natural ingredients, Sardinian cuisine satisfies even the fussiest of palates due to the richness of the territory which in every season gives us products of both delicate and intense tastes, thanks also to the shepherds and farmers who patiently wait to reap what they have sowed and thanks to the climate which ripens our grapes and finally thanks to the excellent Sardinian chefs internationally known. The Sardinian table is blessed with delicious foods, from pasta to meat and fish, accompanied with different breads from different areas of the island, strong cheeses and wine.

The Santa Teresa di Gallura area

On the North Sardinian coast is Santa Teresa di Gallura, an ancient and fishing village and since many years one of the most famous seaside resorts loved and admired by tourists from all over the world.
This ancient village of tightly knit buildings is sitting on a rocky plateau facing the Bocche di Bonifacio and the numerous beaches as the famous Rena Bianca which has received the recognition of “Blue Flag” thanks to its very limpid sea with incredible turquoise and emerald water.

Daily excursions with motor-ships to the Archipelago of the Maddalena (Isle of Budelli, Spargi, Santa Maria, La Maddalena);

Daily excursions with motor-ships to the Arcipelago Corso (Isle of Lavezzi, Cavallò, Piana e Bonifacio);
Excursions to Monte Limbara with motorcycle;
Diving centre, trekking, fishing.

Absolutely to visit is the Aragonese Tower of the XVI century that you can easily reach from the square facing the port. From here you admire the famous beach “Rena Bianca”, the Corsica island with its archipelago composed of Lavezzi, Cavallò and Piana, the archipelago of Maddalena with the mytic Budelli and its “Spiaggia Rosa”, Spargi, Razzoli and Santa Maria. On the back the Gallura interland and maquis stretch for kilometres with their granitic rocks moulded by the wind.
