About the home

Lovely apartment 2 minutes from two superb beaches, 5 minutes drive to the towns of Santa Teresa and 20 from the town of Palau. Wide terrace with sea view.and satellite TV. Well kept grounds surrounding the complex. The apartment is a a perfect base in which to explore the beautiful region of Gallura.

The apartment is in a 2 floor complex of different size accommodation. If you require a larger or smaller property, please enquire as I can ask availability of the agency who handles the rentals for the owners.

The apartment is very close to the beach and restaurant and bars. You can walk to the beach where you can rent out pedalò umbrellas and beach chairs.

The Sardinia region

The Gallura region goes back to the first years of XIX century, in obedience to King Vittorio Emanuele I° wishes; nevertheless we can't forget that farthest point of northern Sardinia was inhabited by very ancient people since prehistory.

The first settlement in this area dates back to the nuragic period (4000 B.C). A trace of those can be seen nearby some archaeological sites, very close to the build up area.

Sardinia has a very warm climate. Very low rainfall during the summer months and a consistent temperature from May through to September.

The Santa Teresa di Gallura / San Pasquale area

San Pasquale is a small hilltop village with 2 or 3 shops selling essential items, 2 bars and opening Summer 2007 its very own restaurant. Throughout the year there are many festival days and these are celebrated by the whole village.

Nearby you can visit the Islands of Maddalena - a protected national park. Beautiful beaches, clear blue waters and most only accessible by boat.

- Tempio - an Historic town 40 minutes drive inland.
- Explore the many fascinating granite rock formations around the Gallura region.
- Santa Teresa - an Historic old town and port where you can catch the ferry to Corsica. The beach here has won the blue flag for the best beach in Europe.
- Palau - catch the ferry to the island of Maddalena.
