Apartment Li Velieri is in a perfect position for a great holiday in this beautiful region of Sardinia.There is a spacious living area and large terrace for outside dining. It is a short walk to the beach of Santa Teresa (approx 10/15 mins) and many superb restaurants.
From the Harbour, you can catch the ferry to Corsica or take one of the many trips that are available around the islands of Maddalena.
Just a short car ride and you can explore the many beaches with clear blue seas that rival the Caribbean! Of course if you just want to relax, the pool is the perfect way to spend the day. Excellent for small children with a large shallow paddling area.

The Sardinia region
Santa Teresa Gallura could be considered at first sight a young village as its foundation goes back to the first years of XIX century, in obedience to King Vittorio Emanuele I° wishes; nevertheless we can't forget that farthest point of northern Sardinia was inhabited by very ancient people since prehistory.
The first settlement in this area dates back to the nuragic period (4000 B.C). A trace of those can be seen nearby some archaeological sites, very close to the build up area.
Sardinia has a very warm climate. Very low rainfall during the summer months and a consistant temperature from May through to September.
In fact September and October are perfect months to visit this lovely Island. The weather is warm, the main holiday season is finishing and it is perfect for a warm relaxing getaway.
May is also a great month. All the flowers are in bloom especially around the harbour and the beach and it is perfect weather for walking or just sitting taking in the scenery.
Santa Teresa di Gallura area
Santa Teresa is a lively town in Summer and a great place to visit out of season. Most restaurants are open all year round.
The harbour is very busy and has its own area of shops and restaurants.
- There are many festivals that take place throughout the year. Details can be found in the local tourist office.
- Visit the Islands of Maddalena - a protected national park. Beautiful beaches, clear blue waters and most only accessible by boat.
- Tempio - an Historic town 40 minutes drive inland.
- Explore the many fascinating granite rock formations around the Gallura region.

Everything was perfect and we found the information pack very helpful. Da Thomas did very well out of us! We also loved the beach in the town – one day there was even a brass band playing live Jazz music! Lucy, Padova.
