Santa Ponsa is situated 20 minutes from Palma in the South East part of the island, reknown for its sunny and hot climate, protected by the mountains on the west of the island. This means that often it will be sunny in Santa Ponsa and cloudy in the North and East of Majorca.

Santa Ponsa is a mix of a beautiful location, excellent micro-climate with a large, fine sandy beach with life guards in season and a plentiful supply of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes.There are many fine restaurants and bars within Santa Ponsa, a number of which stay open all year long. Along with these are numerous bars and snack type cafes.

“Lovely Complex” The complex was very nice and the outside / pool area was well maintained. The Apartment itself was clean and nice enough (great to have direct access to the pool area) however it is somwhat tired and dated. The location of the property was great. Just over the road was "Little Beach" with a small payarea for children. A larger beach & town is located about a 10 min walk away. A small (expensive) supermarket is located nearby, the larger (cheaper) supermarket is a 20 min walk away. Car hire not necessary. Overall we had a lovely holiday.
