The studio is ideal for couples and families, located in the superb micro climate of south eastern Mallorca. Close to town and amenties and with all mod cons for the ideal holiday. Wether you are looking for a relaxing holiday around the pool with snack bar or fancy some water sports you are close enough to the beach to hire a canoe or little boat.
The Mallorca/Majorca region
.Santa Ponsa is situated 20 minutes from Palma in the South East part of the island, reknown for its sunny and hot climate, protected by the mountains on the west of the island. This means that often it will be sunny in Santa Ponsa and cloudy in the North and East of Majorca.
Santa Ponsa is a mix of a beautiful location, excellent micro-climate with a large, fine sandy beach with life guards in season and a plentiful supply of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes.There are many fine restaurants and bars within Santa Ponsa, a number of which stay open all year long. Along with these are numerous bars and snack type cafes.
The resident parakeets make the scenic coastal walk a most enjoyable trip at any time of day and outside the town most of the island's tourist areas are within a 1 hour drive.
Although relatively a new town, has important links to Mallorcan history. It was here that King Jaume I disembarked on 10 September 1229 founding Majorca and on top of the hill overlooking Santa Ponsa Bronze age remains can be seen today
Santa Ponsa area
Santa Ponsa has may bars and resturaunts catering for all. The Spanish square has nightly entertainment for the kids and then each night there are tribute bands to sing and dance along to. There is a regular bus service in town for palma, Andratx and paguera. Each wednesday there is a market in Andratx, very busy as this is the closest market to Santa Ponsa, please remember that all spanish markets are only in the towns for mornings and they start to pack up between 12.30/13.00.
How to get there
Most budget airlines and tour operators fly from all over the uk to palma. A taxi mini bus service can be provided. please enquire regarding costs.

Further details indoors: The studio is well equipped with everything that you will need, Linnen and towels are supplied at no extra charge, except Beach towels, please bring your own. There is 2 single beds and a double sofa bed. The studio has a view of the pool. There is a small kitchen and separate bathroom with toilet.
Further details outdoors: The studio is situated in Jardin de Luz. This is very popular due to the on site bar and evening entertainmant throughout the summer. Suitable for families and couples. Close to the beach and town with great bars and restrauants. The other side of the bay has the famous spanish square where free nightly entertainment for all the family with some great tribute groups.
