The residence is conveniently situated - just a 10 minute drive from the Menaggio Cadenabbia 18 hole International golf course; the second oldest Golf Club in Italy and also the ski resorts of Madesimo & St. Moritz are between 1 and 1.30 hrs drive away.

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area region

In common with so much of Italy, Lake Como drips charm and romance - in ever increasing quantities since George Clooney purchased a few properties here. European writers, artists and composers 'discovered' the region in the 19th century and have been waxing lyrical ever since. Italians have always known about the lake however, as for centuries wealthy Milanese and Lombardians have escaped the pollution and the humidity of the cities on a Friday, for weekends spent sailing and sunbathing.
Or simply breathing. The deepest lake in Europe and the third largest in Italy, Lago di Como attracts with its backdrop of the pre-Alps, its sub-tropical climate and the visual contrasts in colours and textures. In the middle of the lakes, around Tremezzo and Bellagio, olive trees and orange trees will have you wondering if you aren't, after all, in Tuscany. The Mediterranean fishing villages on the shores of the lake and the blazing sunshine will have you wondering whether this isn't Liguria.

The Santa Maria Rezzonico area

Rezzonico is a quaint historic town with several medieval castles and a Pizzeria! You can also swim in the lake from the beach there. The beach is near the Hotel Ristorante Sole where you can sample the local delicacies. The beautiful town of Menaggio which is located on the western shore of Lake Como is about 10 mins. away where you can catch the ferry or a leisure cruiser which can take you to many beautiful town on the lake - www.navigazionelaghi.it. Or just enjoy relaxing in the Piazza whilst you decide on which flavor ice cream to have!

We offer a range of extra facilities, which are available for hire through our office 'Happy Holiday Homes' in Menaggio: Cot Hire - EU 20 per week, High Chair - EU 15 per week, Push Chair - EU 25 per week, Camp Bed – EU 85 per week, Wi-Fi or USB Internet Stick - EU 35 per week (includes EU 10 consumable credit). Please note that signal and connectivity is not guaranteed and may depend on the strength of the signal in your rental property.

Making a Booking:

To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our online booking form and pay a 30% deposit by wire transfer or credit card. The remaining holiday balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.
