Casa Angela is an apartment, of recent restructuring, that belongs to a villa of family, built at the end of the 1800. For his strategic position (only 5minutes by car from the sea, and only 500meter from a nearest supermarket); and for the contrast between the green of the pines and the blue of the sea, can offer one of the most beautiful view of the area.

Ideal for children, who can live free outside without any risk and for couples (young or adult) who love peace and quiet. Furthermore this accommodation is near Paestum, ones of the most famous archaeological sites and Pompei. Besides with a fast boat is possibile to reach: Capri; Positano, Amalfi and Napoli.

The Campania region

Campania is a region of southern Italy in Europe. Located on the Italian Peninsula, with the Tyrrhenian Sea to the west, the small Flegrean Islands and Capri are also administratively part of the region.

Throughout much of its history Campania has been at the centre of Western Civilisation's most significant entities. The area was colonised by Ancient Greeks and was within Magna Græcia, until the Roman Republic began to dominate. During the Roman era the area was highly respected as a place of culture by the emperors, where it balanced Greco-Roman culture. The area had many duchies and principalities during the Middle Ages, in the hands of the Byzantine Empire and some Lombards.

The capital city of Campania is Naples. Campania is rich in culture, especially in regards to gastronomy, music, architecture, archeological and ancient sites such as Pompeii, Herculaneum and Paestum. The name of Campania itself is derived from Latin, as the Romans knew the region as Campania felix, which translates into English as "fertile countryside". The rich natural sights of Campania make it highly important in the tourism industry, especially along the Amalfi Coast, Cilento Coast, Mount Vesuvius and the island of Capri.

Santa Maria di Castellabate area

Saint Maria of Castellabate is one of the most well-known seaside tourist places in Salerno Province. Since it is Located on the Tirreno sea coast, on the Cilento National Park and Diano valley, is considered one of the most pleasant meeting places for those who desire to enjoy their wonderful holyday.

The sea is clean and transparent, the beaches made of fine golden sand: a true paradise for adults and children. The clear sea is guarantees at this area, every year, the assignment of two of the most important sea/environment awards (prestigious blue Flag of Europe and 4/5 Sails by the environment league. From the 1998 S.Maria of Castellabate is part of the Unesco patrimony and it is enclosed in the list of “The most beautiful villages of Italy.” You will be able to enter the public beach free charge, or use one of the many beaches facilities that in the summer time rent umbrellas and sun lounges and have a cafe and a restaurant. You will also be able to rent boats and practise water sports. In Santa Maria di Castellabate you can taste the good local cuisine, based on fish and on genuine products of the Cilento National Park, such a mozzarella cheese, olive oil, wine and fige.

Casa Angela is an excellent starting poit to visit the Campania, with archeological excavations of Pompei, Velia, Ercolano, Paestum (is really near only 13 km), Amalfi, Ravello (for to hear in the summer the famous concert), Capri and Napoli or Palinuro.

Bus service in available in the area. The station is only 12 km far. The metro of the sea start every day from the nearest San Marco di CAstellabate, only 2km far.

In the summer time, in the villages it is possible attend a large number of "sagre" (local aoutdoors festivals with homemade dishes and live musica). Pubs, restaurants and discos stay open untile very late at night.
For the natural lover is possbile to rent a bike (www.antares.com) or make histrical-cultural or gastronimic trails in the Cilento National Park.

How to get there

By plane: Fly to Naples airport Capodichino, (Casa Angela is just 125km from the airport , or around 310 km from airport of Rome -Fiumicino or Rome Ciampino). Keep the highway A3 direction Salerno, exit Battipaglia or Eboli. Continue on the Statale n. 18 to Paestums, Agropoli sud, exit direction S. Maria of Castellabate. (it is possible to rent a car at www.antares91.com).

You will arrive to airport Rome Ciampino (the second airport of the capital) with the cheaper flights of Easyjet.com or Ryanair.com.

Casa Angela is an attractive house with private entry, recently renovated, it is for 4 people, is around 70 mqs, it is in a private property protected by a gate.

There are two bedrooms (1 with Queen size bed and one with two single beds); two baths (one with showers); a living room with a sofa bed, a big kitchen with dish machine.

The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a large refrigerator with freeezer. Is also furnished of everything: flat, dish, silver wares, glasses, coffee service, the service, teapot, flat from course and as other conveniences. In the kitchen there is also a fireplace for to have a dinner (in the winter) in front of the romantic fire.

Further details outdoors:
Outside of the kitchen there is a big panoramic Patio with a wonderful view, a Big Parking places, big garden with flowers. It is possible, and pleasant' to have a lunch or to dine out (there is another table with chairs) in front of the charming seascape and the little isle of Licosa.

In the garden there are two lounge for the rest in front of the sunset. For us is too much important your relax and your privacy!

Further details

In the villa (the casa Angela is only one of the 3 apartments) live the owner. They love respect the privacy of their guest.

But if you need something, like an information for the best restaurant, or the best place to visit, or the timetable for the "metro of the sea" for to go to Positano or Amalfi in only one hour, you can ask to them.

Conditions

The rental price include: towels and linens, and consumption of water and electricity .

The final cleaning is 25 euro.

Upon arrival at Casa Angela the property manager will ask you to pay a security deposit of 50 euro, payable cash. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure less any charges for accidental damages to the priority.

A 25% deposit is paid at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival at the property.
