Oasi Residence is situated in the centre of the picturesque fishing village of San Marco di Castellabate, with its small square and church and its small assortment of shops, restaurants,pizzerie and ice-cream. San Marco known for the Cilento National Park, instituted in 1991 it is second biggest Italian park, Unesco World Heritage site and European blue flag. Above S. Marco you can find the medieval hilltop village of Castellabate, erected a thousand years ago as a stronghold against the Saracens. Castellabate, offering spectacular panoramic views of the coastline of the Gulf of Salerno and Capri.
Oasi Residence is surrendered by a beautiful tropical garden with swimming pool. It is the ideal place to spend a nice and calm holiday. The tranquillity, peace and silence represent the main attractions for those who come to stay at the Oasi Residence. Distance to the centre 100 m and to the Pozzillo beach 800 m, the long sandy Pozzillo beach extends up to Santa Maria, from 15 may to 15 October sun chairs and umbrellas are available. You can enjoy beautiful sandy beaches that lay between S. Marco and Santa Maria or explore the more quieter rocky beaches and coves towards Punta Licosa. S. Marco itself is a small fishing village and boasts a small port mooring many fishing vessels, and in the summer months yachts and leisure boats.Punta Licosa 6 km. Boat trips can be arranged to Punta Licosa, an extraordinary 6km stretch of private, unspoilt coastline, ideal for snorkeling, delightful for a pleasant stroll amongst the eucalyptus and pines and superb for the enthusiastic jogger.

The archaeological sites of Pompei, Ercolano, and Vesuvio are within easy reach in just 1 hour and half.
The grandeur of the 14th century Charterhouse of Padula, two hours inland from San Marco is well worth a visit. Velia, only 40 minutes away, is known for its school of Greek philosophers, its medieval castle, 5th century BC Greek temple and amphitheatre, once popular with wealthy Romans. Just one hour and half to get to the Caves of Pertosa and Castelcivita known as far back as to be referred to by Seneca, have long galleries with extraordinary stalactites and stalagmites of different shapes and colours.

House rules. The tranquillity, peace and silence which represent the main attractions for those who come to stay at the Oasi are entrusted to the responsibility of our guests. They are therefore invited to respect some basic rules in order to spend and enjoyable period of holiday and rest.
a) The swimming pool is open from 9am - 2 pm and from 4pm - 8pm b) For hygienic reasons, it is necessary to shower before entering the swimming pool. c) In order not to disturb guests sitting around the pool, bathers should avoid excessive diving into water, thus reducing to a minimum noise and splashing. d) To make a good use of the swimming pool, guests are requested to refrain from bringing water mattresses, balls and other toys into the pool. e) We ask to keep the afternoon rest period between 2pm and 4pm on common spaces.
