About the home

Villa Pozzillo is situated in a wonderful position just on the beach. You walk out of your flat and with a few steps you are on the sandy Pozzillo beach. With the beach nearby on one side, and Mediterranean brush on the other, the house boasts surroundings of rare beauty.

In the Villa There are 6 apartments but this advert is just for one, equipped for self cathering. The apartments include a living room, two bedrooms, kitchen and a bathroom. Please enquire for details if you are interested in another apartment!

The gardens growing on the terraces spill down to the sea, spotted with characteristic stone tables and benches, perfect places to watch enchanting sunsets. The Santa Maria di Castellabate area

The Municipality of Castellabate lies entirely within the borders of the National Park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano instituted in 1991, it is second biggest Italian park.

The National Park of Cilento and Valley of Diano undoubtedly represents one of the most important bio geographical locations of southern Italy. Coastal terrain and bodies of water accessorize its peculiar geographic position, a land rich with variegated orography. Abundance and variety grow wild in Cilento, a place like none other in the world.

In fact, here one can find rare flora and fauna such as la Primula di Palinuro (the Palinuro Primrose), la Lontra (the Cilentan Otter), and antique cities such as Paestum and Velia, not to mention splendid medieval villages. In December of 1998, The Park of Cilento was awarded UNESCO’s Heritage of Humanity for its pristine environment and cultural wealth.

The terrain retells the myths of yesterday, when it enchanted men and gods with its forests, mountains, valleys and seas. Legends like the Myth of Palinuro and the Helmsman of Aeneas (Enea), and the story of Ulysses, the hero nearly bewitched by the Leucosian Mermaid, all originate from the magical Cilentan landscape.
