The apartment is positioned 600 meters from the sea front of Santa Caterina on the edge of Porto Selvaggio National Park. It is in a block of 4 luxury apartments with a marble staircase leading up to it on the 1st floor. The apartment has a large (110 square meters) open plan design with a stone fireplace, modern open plan kitchen with breakfast bar and balconies for the living room and both bedrooms.
The coastal area is rated amongst the cleanest in Italy and boasts stunning scenery lined with ancient remains, superb beaches, Olive groves. The regional seafood is the envy of the rest of Italy, because Puglia's cusine is one of the most sophisticated in the whole of Europe.

The Puglia/Molise region
The Italians love Puglia, in the unspoilt 'heel' of the country, for its amazing weather and unspoilt beaches. Santa Maria Al Bagno / Santa Caterina area
In the summer months, Santa Caterina and neighbouring Santa Maria Al Bagno pulses with life and you are spoilt for choice if searching for somewhere to eat or a bar to relax the night away. The local cuisine is rich and varied from fresh pasta with fish to delicious pastries and let' s not forget the mouthwatering ice cream !
The Spring and Autumn months are quieter and for those who want to immerse themselves in the wonderful sights,smells and sensations that this beautiful coastal region has to offer.
Gallipoli is 15mins by car and is famous for is fortified island which is considered as the old town. It is a thriving fishing town which has sightseeing and shopping by day and busy nightlife. Dont miss the wednesday market for its traditional atmosphere and bargains galore.
How to get there
Various low budget airlines from London Airports (BA, Alitalia, Lufthansa, ryanair.com, easyjet.com, hlx.com, etc) fly to Brindisi and Bari airports. (Brindisi is the closer)
Travellers from the Midlands and North of the UK can fly from Leeds Bradford and Manchester Terminal 1 to Rome with Jet2 and then onto Brindisi with Myair. Check webistes for timetables etc. www.Myair.com www.jet2.com www.flycheapo.com.
We would recommend a hire car to enjoy the Puglia area to the full. The Apartment has a garage included in the rental. (the garage is large enough for small people carriers e.g. Ford C-max but not Full size people Carriers)
There are several Car Hire companies available at Brindisi and Bari airports. Give the comparison sites a look.
Brindisi also has a major ferry port that links to Greece and Turkey.

Further details outdoors: Strada Santa Caterina is a road lined with stunning baroque villas with the apartment being located here, only 600 meters from the Ionian sea and Santa Caterina town centre with its restaurants and cafes. Santa Maria al Bagno is a beautiful stroll along the coast road. The wonderful baroque town of Lecce is only 25 kms away, and 8kms from the long sandy beaches and old town of Gallipoli.
The Italians have been enjoying holidays in Puglia for years. Long stretches of golden beaches lapped by the cleanest waters in the Mediterranean.

Strictly no smoking except on the balcony. Minimum stay is three nights during low seasons and one week in summer.
Conditions
Deposit of 30% of the total cost of your holiday will be required to secure the reservation by bank transfer. Total cost should be paid no later than 3 weeks before start of your holiday. A refundable security deposit of £100 is payable when total payment is due, to cover loss/non return of keys, damages, breakages or extra cleaning.
