Approximately 400m from the renowned Torre Fiume dating back to the XVI century (also referred to as "Quattro Colonne") that today is no longer forced to defend from enemy attacks but helps to create a unique panorama, just 4 km from magnificent Gallipoli and approximately 25 km from the Baroque gem, Lecce.

The Puglia/Molise region
Apulia is a mix of both natural and man made sights: beautiful beaches, flat plains of wheat or olive groves, nature preserves, family run farms - many of which have become Agriturimos, large ports, and small fishing villages. Apulia abounds in castles, churches and ancient ruins - all of them still far away from the major tourist tracks, at least for now.
Crystal blue sea, green countryside, intense red terrain, golden sunsets....From Porto Cesareo to Peschici, from Bari to Taranto, from Vieste to Brindisi, from Otranto to the Tremiti Islands, you can experience a multitude of emotions holidaying in Puglia all year round.
Board to visit the historic cities of Lecce (Baroque town) with Roman amphitheaters and theaters, the center of Gallipoli (8km) and the cathedral of Otranto (Greek cities) and Ostuni (the white city).
I recommend the tour of the Adriatic coast from Santa Maria di Leuca to Otranto, and when you arrive in Santa Maria di Leuca turn on the radio and listen to Greek music just because we are only 70km from the Greek islands.
The Santa Maria Al Bagno / Santa Caterina area
The beaches' good: Portoselvaggio National Park (2 km) Lido Pizzo Beach (south of Gallipoli) the beach of Santa Maria al Bagno (400m) the beach TABU in Porto Cesareo (9km) and the beach the Cava dei Turchi in Otranto
for restaurants near to home: "Art Nouveau" and Gallipoli "the Puritate"
