About the home
This will be a relaxing holiday with plenty of water sports, sandy beaches and more or less guaranteed sunshine.
The studio apartment is very spacious 60 square metres and has a fully kitted out bathroom, with bath shower, toilet, sink and bidet.
There is a very spacious kitchen with a great washing machine etc.
There is a fly screen so that you can leave the doors out to the julliette balcony open at night and a water filter so that you can drink straight from the tap instead of lugging water bottles up to the apartment.
There is also air conditioning which is a must in Cape Verde.

There is a travel cot and plenty of room to put it up stored in the apartment.
The Barlavento Islands / Sal Island region
It is 3 euro in a taxi or a 15 minute walk to Sant Maria, however it is a short walk to the Tortuga resort/beach and there is everything you need on Vila Verde.
The beach is a five minute walk and you can walk all the way along the beach to Santa Maria.
However there are numerous facilities close by.
Sal island is salty hence the name, and you could go and visit the disused salt mine if you wish however I think the sea and beaches are the top attraction here.

Had a fab time at the resort, very peaceful and brilliant pools. Only a few minutes walk to Ponta Petra beach. The apartment itself had all the facilities we needed to enjoy our stay, much larger than we expected, so very spacious. Really nice to have a good bathroom and a bath!!! We will be going back! |
