The Villa comprises of one twin bed bedroom on the ground floor with a further two bedrooms one twin bed and one King Size with en-suite on the first floor.

The Barlavento Islands / Sal Island region
At the Villa Tortuga Beach you are only steps away from the plush shores of Ponta Preta beach, the beach is perfect for all watersports and also those looking to kickback and relax. Why not visit Sals historic salt mines and volcano or take a catamaran trip to Boa Vista, or for those really wanting to explore why not try a spot of island hopping.You also can accompany the Rangers and watch as they collect data and tag turtles. You may even see them relocating the nest to the hatchery and if the timing is right, you can also observe the the baby turtles being born and released into the sea.
For the water sport lovers you are spoilt for choice. Wind surfing World Champion Josh Angulo is based in Sal. You also have kite surfing, deep-sea fishing scuba diving water surfing and away from the beach there is plenty to do with the quad biking excursions , and also the submarine tours in which you may spot some dolphins and also an old shipwreck from years gone by.
The Santa Maria, Sal Island / Tortuga Beach area
Santa Maria is just over 5 minutes drive away and has numerous supermarkets, bars, restaurants, banks (with cash machines), medical facility, etc. There are plenty of taxis on the Island and there is a Hire Car firm based there which we have details of.
The Resort provides a free shuttle bus to and from Santa Maria Beach 4 times daily.

Direct flights are available from Thomson from Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham. Also via TUI from Germany, Italy or France. Alternatively fly via Lisbon (Portugal) with TAP. Amilcar Cabral International Airport is just a 20 minute drive away from the Villa. Car hire is available. There are also plenty of taxis.

Stayed at this villa in August,it is very modern and well appointed with comfortable furniture inside and out and the swimming pool was great for cooling down in.The villa is on the Tortuga beach resort but is only a few minutes by taxi to the town of Santa Maria which has a modern supermarket and some nice restaurants on the sea front.The restaurants were reasonably priced and certainly a lot cheaper then the restaurants on the resort itself.All in all a very relaxing holiday in comfortable surroundings. |
