FRONT LINE Santa Maria Residence is a lovely private building of 7 high class 2 bedroom apartments on the beach. It is located towards the quieter eastern side of Santa Maria town. The ground floor apartment looks out over Santa Maria beach. The apartment has a large courtyard/patio outside for sun bathing, eating, relaxing and enjoying the view on the sun loungers and patio table and chairs.
Internally the flat is significantly larger than a lot of others. There are 2 rooms of good size, one with a large double room with en suite, and a good size room with 2 single beds and fitted wardrobes. There is a generous kitchen area and open plan lounge area which leads out onto the courtyard/patio. The flat is fully air conditioned with top quality inverter A/C units. Furnished and has a well equipped kitchen. Please note that there is no washing machine.
If further information is required we do have short video clips of the area and the flat.
A short walk across the beach to the beautiful sea & surf for a swim or snorkel or to sit & watch the sun go down with a glass of wine . It is a truly idilic location.

This apartment resides inside a tastefully gated beach front block.
The apartment is tiled throughout and furnished to a high standard with high quality wooden furniture.
The fitted kitchen has a built in full height fridge freezer, gas hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. The dining area is next to the kitchen area which leads onto the open plan lounge. It also leads to the bathroom and both bedrooms.
The lounge area has a sofas from which you can look straight out over the beach and sea through the large double patio doors.
The main master bedroom has a double bed fitted wardrobe, bedside tables and a large set of drawers. A separate en suite toilet/ shower room is attached to this room.
The second bedroom, with sea views has twin single beds, fitted wardrobe, bedside tables, and chest of drewers.
The master bedroom and the lounge area have high quality air conditioning units fitted.

This flat is truly front line and on the beach, with sea views. The sea is about 1 minute walk across the beach/ tundra from the gates. The World Windsurf Champion Josh Angual Windsurf Centre is approx 300m along the beach from the flat, making it an ideal location for all water sports enthusiasts.

The people are a mixture of African and European with approximately 70% of the population being of mixed race. The official language of the islands is Portuguese, which widely spoken and used in newspapers and anything that is written. Instead they use Creole, their national language, based on African languages but with additions from several European languages. Even this can differ from island to island. More recently English has been taught as a foreign language in schools. The religion of the islands is largely Christian, with most people being Catholic.
Idyllic year round temperatures in the high twenties and virtually no rain makes the Islands the ideal getaway whatever the time of year. Their privileged position in the Atlantic means they enjoy fairly constant cooling breezes which keep the atmosphere almost free from humidity. Rainfall is minimal throughout the year and is most likely to occur during the months of July and October.

We were looking for a nice spacious apartment near the ocean, suitable for stay with 7 month old baby. Was perfect for our needs. separate bedroom for the kid, nice basic apartment, great patio with seaview and great location: near to the Angulo surfstation (good beach/bar/restaurant with laidback people). apartment felt like home for 2 weeks. It's basic, but has all the comforts we needed. the owner, David, is friendly and helpfull. thanks for good holiday! |

Nice appartment, ground floor, view the ocean and listen to the sound of the waves. Very good contact with The owner, he gave us a lot of helpfull information about the island and what to do, where to eat. Stayed a week here with my father, nice to have a bedroom and bathroom each. Everything you need is there, don't expect Hilton, this is: Good value for money! |

Please contact me by e-mail or phone first to check your preferred week(s) are available. Your dates can be held for a week in our booking schedule. You can then book your flights, phone me again, complete a booking form and rental contract and send it to us with the initial payment of the bond and one–third of the total rental cost. The balance is payable 3 months before departure.
If your departure date is within 3 months of the date on which you are booking your holiday, we would request you remit the full amount. Please contact us about “late-booking” availability, and prices.
PLEASE NOTE ALL THESE PRICES ARE EXCLUSIVE OF ALL BILLS (WATER/ ELECTRICITY/GAS), CLEANING, LAUNDRY.
All the prices below are cost prices
Cleaning costs are £18 per visit,
Laundry is normally around £13 per person per week,
Water is charged at £12 per cubic meter, economic usage is about 1 cubic meter per person per week
Electricity is charged at 37p per unit. Economic usage is normally around 25 units per person per week
Gas is charged at a nominal £3 per week.
The flat will be cleaned prior to your arrival (additional £18) and should be left in the same condition on your departure.
We can organise a departure clean if you do not wish to undertake this.
Additional cleaning during your stay can be organised if requested/ required.
Laundry. Towels and linen changed on a weekly basis, unless requested otherwise.
Water, gas and electricity, all in addition to the basic cost.
A deposit/ bond will be required in order to confirm the booking in respect of breakages and excessive bills usge. It will be returned within two weeks of your return date.
1 Week £300, 2 Weeks £400, 3 Weeks or more £600.
Bills, cleaning and laundry costs are deducted from this deposit.

If cancelled before 90 days a 20% cancellation fee will be charged
