The apartment is conveniently located on the beach front of Santa Eularia, the choice of holiday location for the discerning Ibiza visitor. The long sandy beach below this well kept apartment is spotlessly clean and is safe & fun for kids. Santa Eularia has several excellent authentic Ibiza cafes, bars and restaurants with loads of local charm. Santa Eularia is ideal for children as it is safe, clean and has a more genteel nightlife than elsewhere on the island.
Access to this fourth floor apartment is via lift. The apartment itself has a recently re-furnished living room with dining area offering a pretty sea view. Off the living room is a wide sea front balcony, ideal for al fresco dining or to simply enjoy the view and watch the yachts coming and going from the adjacent marina. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, also recently re-furbished, with the double benefiting from access to the balcony. Both bedrooms have separate adjacent bathrooms. A neat kitchen offers all that is needed for full self catering. The apartment is fully air conditioned.

The Ibiza region
Ibiza speaks for itself - A world famous and glamorous holiday destination. Renowned for its nightlife, Ibiza offers a lot more than this - pristine, undeveloped beaches and a protected coastline, beautiful and accessible countryside, excellent for family or activity holidays. The island is culturally rich and historically vibrant, with its own dialect and a cosmopolitan list of visitors over the centuries, from the Phoenicians and Romans in ancient times to the Hippies and Jet Set in the 1960s. It enjoys a wonderful mild winter climate with plenty of sunshine, a classic mediterranean summer weather and balmy autumns - Ibiza is an all year round secret.
Ibiza has a world class reputation for its bars and clubs, from sunset at the Cafe Del Mar to super glamourous Pacha near the marina in Ibiza Town. If that is not really your thing, It does make for fabulous people watching at night! Because of its relative lack of development, it is very easy to escape the crowds and relax in the countryside or on the coast. The island allows you to have what ever kind of holiday you are after. There are countless beaches along its coast ranging from the busy but fun to the quiet and unspoilt. Benirras in the north is particularly famous for its sunsets and "join in" drumming sessions.
If you are bored of the beach, Ibiza is a shopaholic's paradise all year round. From the chic boutiques of Ibiza Town to the funky Hippy Markets of Es Canar and Las Dalias, there are plenty of excellent shopping opportunities as well as nearby cafes and restaurants to do a spot of celebrity spotting while you take a break. Off season there is a great flea market at the old Hippodromo near Ibiza Town on saturdays which is well worth a visit.
As a family holiday location, Ibiza is a secret gem - especially Santa Eularia. It is safe, convenient and there is lots to do besides sunbathing. Horse riding, cycling and walking are all actively encouraged by the local government with plenty of routes and information available. All water sports are catered for with excellent diving, sailing, jet skiing and cruising on offer.
Santa Eularia del Rio area
Santa Eularia is the perfect seaside town for family holidays and couples in Ibiza. This small fishing village has grown into bustling holiday location without loosing its local charm and flavour. It has a long sandy beach that is children friendly and kept spotless throughout the year. Famous for its variety and quality of cafes and restaurants, all the facilities are excellent and within easy walking distance.
It has a fantastic daily market - try Maria's vegetables! - as well as several supermarkets and shops offering tasty local produce and international goods. Shopping is fantastic mix of chic clothing, ethnic knick knacks and old fashioned spanish shops.
There's plenty to see in the town - it has a small church citadel which is worth a visit, with a local museum nearby. Easter (Semana Santa) in the town is fantastic with an amazing torch-lit procession and sombre music. There are several events to see in the off season too; the town has hosted the Balearic Cultural Festival recently as well as triathlons and classic bike rallies. The marina is a great place to have a sundown drink and watch the world go by - it is also the centre of Santa Eularia's modest (by Ibiza standards!) nightlife with live music and Guarana, the town's friendly night club.
The rest of the island is easily accessible by road, or take one of the many regular buses from the station near the market to Ibiza Town, Santa Gertrudis or San Antonio. Santa Eularia is 20 - 25 minutes from the airport.
How to get there
By Air: seasonal direct flghts from most UK and European airports May - October. Year round connecting flights from the UK via Barcelona, Palma and Madrid on Iberia and other airlines, direct flights available from Germany. By Sea: regular year round ferries from the Spanish mainland (Barcelona, Palma and Denia).
When you arrive: Taxi to Santa Eularia, ask for Cruz Apartmentos, Carrer de la Mar. Regular bus service in summer season to Santa Eularia from the airport.
