The Ibiza region
The 'white isle' offers holiday makers a different experience. There is truly a bohemian atmosphere as all nationalities seek the peace and tranquility that the hippies discovered in the '60s. People watch in Ibiza Town, dance 'til dawn at Pacha, take the kids to the waterpark, see the sunset at Cafe Del Mar....
A world famous and glamorous holiday destination. Renowned for its nightlife, Ibiza offers a lot more than this - pristine, undeveloped beaches and a protected coastline, beautiful and accessible countryside, excellent for family or activity holidays. It enjoys a wonderful mild winter climate with plenty of sunshine, a classic mediterranean summer weather and balmy autumns - Ibiza is an all year round secret.
If you are bored of the beach, Ibiza is a shopaholic's paradise all year round. From the chic boutiques of Ibiza Town to the funky Hippy Markets of Es Canar and Las Dalias, there are plenty of excellent shopping opportunities as well as nearby cafes and restaurants to do a spot of celebrity spotting while you take a break.
Santa Eulalia del Rio / S'Argamassa area
S'Aragamassa is a quiet area of privately owned villas and apartments offering a relaxing base for your holiday. The famous hippy market is within walking distance and family resorts are a realistic 5 minute car journey away.
Santa Eulalia/Eularia is the 3rd largest town on the island (after Ibiza Town & San Antonio) and 5 minutes south. It is a pleasant family resort with a picturesque marina and sophisticated fish restaurants. Walk along the promenade on the seafront or eat at the pedestrianised child friendly 'street of restaurants'.
There are 3 or 4 British pubs/bars so you can get a taste of home but it still retains a multi-national cosmopolitan feel
Es Cana is 5 minutes north of S'Argamassa and has a stronger British bias. It offers homely cuisine, a fun fair, tv sports and good children's entertainment.
How to get there
20-25 minutes from Ibiza Airport - €30 in a taxi. Take the dual carriageway heading north on the east coast of the island past Ibiza Town onto Santa Eulalia. Take the Santa Eulalia ring road onto Es Canar and S'Aragamassa is half way along the main roman road. If travelling at night you will a green triangle for Es Pins restaurant on the left - the apartment is opposite.
Direct flights are available from April to October from most regional UK airports - try Easyjet, BMIBaby, Thomsonfly, Jet2, Monarch for flights.
Indirect flights are available during the winter months via Barcelona, Madrid or Palma (Majorca).

Guestbook for Aldeamar Apartments
"The perfect base for a holiday - kick back and read a book one night - put your heels on and head for the clubs the next!" - Mr. & Mrs. Garrett, Uxbridge.
"Great family holiday. The apartment was like a home from home and perfectly situated for the local amenities and entertainment" - Dawes Family, Sheffield.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Aldeamar. The apartment was spacious and comfortable for us and our two young children, the balcony is a real 'sun-trap' and the pool / courtyard is well maintained. Situated between Santa Eulalia and Es Canar, it is the perfect location for those wanting a quiet family break but still gives you the option of great restaurants, tourist attractions and the hustle and bustle of Balearic nightlife. All the people we met were very welcoming and polite. Save money on hiring a car and use the excellent local bus services. They are regular (every 30 mins) and can literally take you to anywhere on the island. Highly recommended, we look forward to staying there again.
Mark & Charlotte from Essex (june/july 2009)
The apartment is in a super location. We loved the fact you could walk to the beach so easily. The beach itself was great. No high rise buildings just a gentle beach with an easy feel. We used the buses as the bus stop was so near. We hired a car the second week which allowed us to explore more. Ibiza has a lovely climate, hot but breezy during the day and cooler in the evening unlike Greece which was just roasting, still and no let up at night either! Roberts Family from Cowbridge (August 2009)
We had a lovely 2 weeks in Ibiza and loved the pool and local beach. Our son learned to swim without his armbands - hurrah! Crook Family (August 2009)
