About the home

The El Zoco apartment complex is an architecturaly unique 'old Mediterranean' styled complex that encompasses a centre court/piazza tiled with large natural slate, gardened with flowers, palms, and fountain pools that give it a Zen like feel.

The apt is a small but cosy 35 sq meter , 3rd floor alcove type apartment with a large double bed on its wooden balcony and opening couch on the ground floor living area. Perfect for a couple with 1-2 children. Two couples is a squeeze but possible.Go down the steps and you are on the beach, only 50 meters from the water. The sea may be seen off to the side from the apartment's small terrace while the apt itself overlooks the piazza with its cafes, mini mart, gift shop and one of Ibiza's finest restaurants 'Maria & Louise'. Along the beach you will find other bars and restaurants, two of Ibiza's finest scuba clubs, a massage shop, boat, car, and motorcycle rentals an bus service.

Cala Vadella is the south western side of the island and that means sunset! the neighbouring beaches are also beautiful. Cala Vadella made the top 20 best kept European beaches list as it is a perfect family beach not too posh and not too touristy. Perfect!

The Ibiza region

Ibiza island means pine covered mountains that find their way down to turquoise waters and white sands, hot days and cool evenings, beautiful contemporary people and and rich antique Spanish island culture where you can find peace and quiet in secluded nature or be in one of the worlds most trendy discos. Ibiza is everything.

The Sant Jose / Cala Vadella area

All the neighbouring beaches should be visited for they all differ in their own qualities. Ibiza city centre and castle is 30 min.by car and San Antonio even closer. While Cala Vadella itself has scuba diving outings, snorkelling, boat rentals and beautiful nature, etc... the night life is tame... the exotic famous disco techs are out of ear shot but a must before you leave the island.

Ibiza's only international airport is a 15 min. taxi trip to the apt.

Ferries to port San Antonio are a few km closer (10-15 min) than the Ibiza port (25-30 min).

Cala Vadella also has running buses to and from San Antonio and Ibiza centre.

Car rentals are available also in Cala Vadela so renting immediately from airport not necessary.

“Fantastic location and beach” We stayed in cala vedella for 2 weeks and really enjoyed our stay at apartment. Over all we had a great stay, but as always there are some things that could be better. The overall standard of the flat was ok, except for the bathroom which had some water leaks and was not maintained good enough. The air con worked, but was slightly too cold even at a high temprature. But these were minor problems, we just loved the place and the beach so much. The little piazza outside our window is too die for. And so are the sunsets! Thanks to the friendly owner Nick! Response: update..:the small bath leek has since been fixed.
