Villa | 4 bedrooms | sleeps 8
Can Mares is a modern villa built in traditional Ibizan style, in which the warmth of natural stone and wood have been liberally used to contrast with the immaculate white walls characteristic of the island's villas. Enjoying a privileged position in the southwest corner of the island, with stunning seaward views over the Cala Corral (a quiet and unspoilt rocky inlet lying halfway between the larger inlets of Cala Tarida and Cala Vadella), this property provides an ideal setting in which to take full advantage of the island lifestyle. Ranged invitingly on the terrace in front of the house are plenty of comfortable wicker armchairs and sofas, teak sun loungers and an open-air dining table and chairs, where al fresco meals and unlimited sunbathing can be enjoyed to the full. The panoramic sea views and spectacular sunsets are a particular attraction of this property, set on a pine-clad hillside yet only 100 metres from the seashore. The four double bedrooms, two of which are independently located in a separate annexe, have their own direct access to the garden and are tastefully decorated and furnished to create an impression of light and airiness. Each bedroom has a luxuriously-appointed en-suite bathroom with shower. The spacious, elegantly furnished living room and adjacent dining area lead directly onto the terrace through large sliding French windows, which integrate the house into the garden and surrounding landscape.

The Ibiza region
Home to green rolling hills, dramatic coastline, breathtaking sunsets and an extraordinary nightlife, Ibiza has been a magnet for visitors in search of beauty and an unforgettable holiday experience for decades. The old-world charm of Ibiza Town provides the perfect setting for visitors looking to experience the island?s stylish arts, cultural and social scene. Smart and sophisticated bars and restaurants, private boutiques and galleries, and a fascinating history draw an exclusive crowd throughout the year. The walled old quarter of the city, the D?Alt Villa, with its winding cobbled streets and 16th century cathedral only add to Ibiza Town?s vibrant atmosphere.
The large and relatively new resort of San Antonio is where most of the island?s and discos are located, and it is busiest during the summer months when people from all over the world come to experience the legendary nightlife in some of the most stylish clubs on the planet. But beyond the lively Ibiza Town and San Antonio, visitors to Ibiza will discover a world of beautiful, un-spoilt countryside, traditional villages and farms, and a way of life that has been virtually untouched by tourism. The island is home to more than 60 beaches, ranging from long, sandy stretches to tiny hidden coves which can only be reached by boat or on foot. Protected from overdevelopment by the local authorities, the wild, northern end of the island is particularly beautiful, with acres of lemon and olive groves, green hillsides and rugged cliffs. Walkers can climb Ibiza?s highest mountain, Sa Talaiassa for stunning views across the whole island, or visit the Ses Salines salt flats to the east. An island of contradictions and surprises, Ibiza?s unique and magical atmosphere offers visitors from all walks of life a holiday to remember.
