About the home

Can Teresa apartment is set in its own private grounds with stunning mountain views and is only 5 minutes away from one of the most picturesque and safest Blue Flag beaches on the island.

This is the place to sit, relax and enjoy the stunning sunsets while having a drink in one of the many restaurants on the beach; there are enough restaurants to cater for everybody's taste, it also has a couple of supermarkets and a dive school that comes highly recommended; there is a bus service that services Ibiza town regularly throughout the day/evening.

Can Teresa is 20 minutes away from Ibiza airport and 25 minutes away from the night-life in Ibiza Town.

There is an extensive reading library to cater for every taste as well as a good library of DVDs (not for children, please bring your own); there is a 10.5 metres x 4.5 metre swimming pool that is suitable for both adults and children; guests have their own built in BBQ area as well as a large seating area with umbrella to seat 8 people, in addition to this there is also a "chill out" area under cover, again to seat 8 people.

The outside area around the pool is large and the terrace has plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas; there are also separate shaded areas for those people who want to "chill out" but don't always want to sit in the sun! (every effort is made to make sure that the guests enjoying a relaxing and stress free holiday).

English owners on site that allow you privacy yet available should you need any help or information.
Owners do use the pool from time to time and family members when they are on holiday (2/3 weeks of the year only, June/August) We would very much appreciate that guests don't use towels, etc from the apartment outside by pool/sea, this is so that we can keep the apartment to the very high standards that are set by owners and for guests to enjoy a lovely environment. with very much a "home from home" feel. Check in times are 2pm - Check out times at 10am, and should there be back to back bookings then these times will need to be adhered to (flexible if no back to back bookings)

Conditions

This is a "no smoking" apartment, but ashtrays are provided around the pool for use of guests.
A deposit of £200 per week will be required to secure booking with balance being paid 6 weeks prior to departure. (for late bookings full amount will be required)

Air conditioning is available in this apartment.

The Ibiza region

Ibiza is well know for its night life, but its also recognised for its outstanding beauty and with the island itself being only 50 kilometres, it takes you only an hour to get from one side of the island to the other; it is steeped in history and every little village has its own story to tell; it has many fiestas throughout the season and this is when the sleepy villages come to life with all its colour and entertainment.

Ibiza has something for everybody, from the children with their tourist trains to the adults who just want to sit and drink their wine and watch the world go by.

The Sant Jose / Cala Vadella area

Sa Tallia (the highest point in Ibiza where you can see the mainland on a sunny day, and where the first plane crash happened on the island in the 1970's) is just 10 minutes drive away on the way to San Jose; there are also lovely sunsets on this side of the island during the months of July and August; one of the restaurants, Can Sofia has one of the top chefs who has won awards in Madrid to Barcelona and people come from far and wide to eat at this restaurant; we also have one of the best pasta bistros which you have to have bookings for in the months of July/August as its so popular.

“A haven of tranquillity with impeccable customer service. Ibizan Bliss.” The most important thing you need to know is that we've already booked our week of escapism for 2013 and 2014! From the ease of booking to the chilled wine on arrival to the pristine pool less than 6ft from the door of your fully equipped and spotless home from home appartment.... Ibiza is our favourite island and we've stayed in quite a few places but we need look no further than Can Teresa ever again. The only problem will be getting a free week because bookings are already being taken for 2014! My only slight reservation when booking was that the owners lived on site and that with 4 yr old twins we were never going to be the quietest of guests. Terri and Tony couldn't have been better hosts - there when you needed beach or restaurant top tips or a friendly chat in the morning but at other times you were in your own private haven. Fantastic customer service throughout. The appartment is very much separated from the main villa. The kids loved the pool, Lucky the dog and the fact they could watch cbeebies if it was too hot outside. The surrounding beaches are some of the best in Europe, especially Cala Bassa and the local Cala Vadella, and are perfectly gently sloping for young children. Parents even get chance to relax (for 10 mins) while keeping a close eye on their excitable sand monsters. We had the most relaxing holiday since life before children and I have no hesitation in recommending Can Teresa to anyone who wants to listen. Just don't try booking our week in May!!

“Perfect Ibiza Hideaway!” We were lucky enough to get the very last week available this year for this gorgeous villa and on arrival we could see why. It is immaculate, serene, romantic, secluded, a complete home from home with not a single thing we could fault, needless to say that writing a review is difficult as we would like to keep it a secret from everyone!! Terri & Tony were perfect hosts who had cold beer & wine waiting in the fridge on our arrival (and other 'essentials'!) and left us alone as it was our wedding anniversary for the first few days then joined us for drinks, we left at the end of the week having made some great friends who we hope to be back to visit asap (and Lucky the dog!) The walk down to the beautiful beach is only 5 mins away with stunning sunsets and a lovely selection of places to sip cocktails, eat great seafood/pastas/pizza etc and stroll home under the stars All in all a faultless holiday, book up quick!

“Perfect for a totally relaxing family holiday” We stayed for 2 weeks at Can Terese in July 2011. The girls aged 13 & 14 loved the fact that the pool was exclusive to them! My husband loved the local fishing even if he didnt catch anything and I loved the extensive library and the very warm sunshine. Cala Vadella is a perfect spot to chill and watch the world go by. The beach was picture perfect and many an afternoon was spent there during our two week stay. Rachael(13) loved the fact that there were cats and a dog there at Can Therese, Claire(14) enjoyed the visits to San Antonia where she shopped until she dropped. I would recommend Can Therese to families of all ages - the apartment had everything we needed so we were able to cook some days instead of heading out for dinner. Terri and Tony were lovely people and the perfect 'landlords' and were always on hand to offer advice or a lift. We hope to return in 2013 (2012 is already booked out). McMullans, Belfast
