The apartment has its own entrance and a terrace with lovely view to sea. Inside there is a living room, with an open plan kitchen, a separate bathroom, containing a large walk in shower, a sink and toilet. The bedroom is large, with a double bed, wardrobe with sliding drawers, bedside units, chair and a good size fan. There is also the great view visable from the bed!

The terrace has a table and two chairs, so meals can be enjoyed outside.

Please Note: Smoking not permitted in the apartment, only outside, on the terrace. Thank you.

Please note; To comply with Ibiza private rental laws, we can now only rent for a MINIMUM of 60 days, maximum of 90 days. Therefore we are looking for one tenant ( or a couple ) to rent for ALL of July and August. Not less.

The whole place is white, clean and light !

Whilst we don't provide Wi-Fi, we can provide a Vodafone dongle, and you can than access the internet for 2 hours per day for just 20 €uros per month = 66 cents per day.

There is parking avialable right outside. The road is very quiet, and is a cul-de-sac. There are only two other houses beyond ours, further up the hill, so there is no traffic noise. PLEASE Note: Our rates are lower than a local two star hotel, situated on a crossroads by traffic lights !

The Ibiza region

In Ibiza the climate is typical for the Mediteraennean, little rainfall, long summers, plenty of sun. When you fly in you will be surprised by the number of trees, still vast areas remain unspoilt. The island has some lovely beaches, several of which are listed in the European Unions top 20. The island has been colonised by many races, before becomming a tourist destination. The Phoniciens, The Romans, the Moors, all left their mark, before the arrival of the beat generation in the late 50´s, followed by the Hippies in the sixties. Somehow the Ibecencos seem to welcome everyone, which is why the character of the island remains unique & intact.

Here 82 nationalities reside in harmony, halfway between Europe and North Africa.

Famous for its world class clubs, but, really this is only one of many attractions. There is much to do, laze on the beaches, watersports, walking, bird watching, a wide range of restaurants, bars, historic villages, diving, sunset "Chill out" music bars, or maybe just shopping in the main town Ibiza. The old city is a World heritage site, and boasts a complete and unspoilt medieval town, surrounded by huge high castle walls. You can spend some time wandering around it´s narrow alleys, where there is now a mixture of renovated expensive holiday homes and many of the original inhabitants, co habiting in harmony.

There is also a Tourist Information office in the main town, and of course we will be able to help you with local information and advice, for whatever it is that interests you.

Sant Jose

Being on the west side of the island, the sunsets are the best ! Several good spots we can recommend close to the house. The famous Cafe Dél Mar, 15 minutes away. The villages of San Augustine, San Jose nearby with old church´s, shops, cashpoints, restaurants and bars ....

There is an excellent supermarket just 5 minutes away, open 7 days a week, with fresh bread, delicatesan, butcher, dairy produce, fruit and vegatables, beer and wine. Also next door to that, a local bar restaurant, with good local food at reasonable prices.

"A nice little apartment"

We booked this from the trip advisor site - it's not been on there long so there were no reviews but we decided that the pictures looked good enough and the description was for what we wanted and we were not disappointed with what we found.
The owners live above the apartment in their home so are on hand should there be any issues and we found them very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We did not have any issues while we were there however I am confident that should anything have arisen they would have wanted to put it right straight away.
The location is quite remote which makes it nice and quiet - it would be difficult to find on your own but this is not a problem as Garth makes himself available to meet you at the local shop and bar just a kilometre away and then leads you up to the property - we arrived after 9 in the evening and we did not get the feeling that it was an inconvenience to come and find us when we arrived. This also makes the key collection and handover of the apartment nice and straight forward too at both the start and finish of your stay.
The very first thing you are struck by is the view of the Bahia de Portmany with Sant Antoni across the bay completely laid out before you - everything is there to see but far enough away that there is no noise to disturb you.
We had a hire car and would recommend this as the most convenient way to get about, however I would imagine that if you were determined to use the bus service this would not be too bad, although I would not fancy walking my luggage up the hill to the apartment!!
The local supermarket is a very well stocked little shop which you virtually have to pass when you go out anyway so we found this very handy.
The nearest beach is at Calla Bassa and this is a very well kept, sheltered bay however it's not that much further to a selection of other bays and beaches so the choice is yours.
We are keen walkers and there are some nice walks very nearby although nothing is that far away on Ibiza which offers a good array of landscapes to see and enjoy. Garth knows many of the walks on the island and was able to make some recommendations to us and even took us on a more obscure walk that he knows which was very nice.
The apartment has a fairly basic kitchen with 2 cooker rings, a toaster, coffee machine, kettle and a selection of pots, pans etc. so fine for basic catering but you'll not be making any sunday roasts... there are also no laundry facilities so if you were looking to stay for a longer period I'm not sure what you'd have to do. The bathroom is very nice with a pretty spacious shower. The only access is down a flight of stairs so not ideal for anybody with mobility issues.
All in all it's a lovely place to stay and we were very happy with what we got for our money - we found it inexpensive and therefore great value.
