About the home

A home away from home, this modern apartment is located just five minutes' walk from the beach in a place often referred to as one of Ibiza's prettiest and friendliest resorts. The apartment comprises two bedrooms, a living/dining room, kitchen and two en-suite bathrooms.

The two bedrooms are fitted with good sized wardrobes with some hanging and other draw space so you can unpack your things and feel at home.

Both the en-suite bathrooms boast a fantastic shower and large mirrored sink area, perfect for beautifying yourself after a day in the sun!

In the main living/dining room there is a rustic wooden table with seating for six and two settees. One of these is the key because it's top is two full sized single mattresses which converts easily into a comfortable double bed. This gives the apartment the ability to sleep six in extreme comfort, ideal for families.

The kitchen is bright and modern, boasting a microwave, oven, halogen hob, toaster, kettle, fridge and a small coffee maker. The apartment also has a TV receiving ALL UK free to air channels including BBC1,2,3 and 4, ITV 1, 2, 3 and 4 plus Channels 4 and 5, Sky News and childrens TV. There is an iron and ironing board, plus some plastic chairs to use on the balcony; a perfect area to relax and catch the sun whilst watching the family in the pool or for an afternoon drink with the sunset.

Port Blau is quiet and peaceful, yet with three fabulous beaches all within 15 minutes walk ... the first is only 5 minutes walk away ... and with easy access to larger resorts. There are many excellent restaurants for eating out and the apartment is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

Prior to your arrival the apartment will be thoroughly cleaned and fresh linen and towels provided, but we request that you refrain from using the apartment towels for outdoor use. However for stays of 11 days or more there will be a mid-term towel and linen change included after 7 days.

Cleaning, laundry and maintenance are carried out by our propert managers Mick & Ali. Their number is in the apartment and they will be happy to help you out in the unlikely event of any problems arising in the apartment.

Also, Ali used to be a tour guide on the island and she knows Ibiza and it's history very well.

Conditions

£20 per night deposit to be paid with booking confirmation - (minimum deposit is £150). Your balance will be due no later than 9 weeks prior to your departure.

There is a £50 returnable key deposit payable with your final payment, but if paying by cheque, keys will not be issued unless cheques have cleared for payment.

Terms and conditions of hire will be issued with booking form.

The Ibiza region

Part of the Balearic Islands, Ibiza boasts a higher year round average temperature than Majorca. It is a beautiful, friendly island and despite it's small size, there are literally hundreds of places to explore.

Don't miss the hippy market at Es Cana and make sure you have at least one "Menu del Dia" at a local restaurant.

Known as the white island because of the amazing almond blossom in February, Ibiza is steeped in history. One of our property managers, Ali, is a bit of an expert and she will be happy to give you all the info you need to make your stay one to remember.

The Sant Joan de Labritja / Portinatx area

Plenty of restaurants... try The Point (locally known as Camping), Cas Mallorqui and Es Puet Blanc. Also, La Caballito de Mar, on the main beach do great food and amazing burgers.

From Portinatx with a combination of car and walking, you can visit some stunning bays... Cala Xuclar, Cala Xarraca, Sillot des Rencli and Cala den Serra.

Easyjet from Stansted, Luton and Gatwick. Ryanair from Birmingham, East Midlands, Manchester and Stansted (BA also fly direct throughout the year so you can go from November to April). Jet 2 from Leeds/Bradford and Manchester. There are also good early deals to be had from Monarch, Thomas Cook and Thomson.

It's around 25 minutes by car or taxi from Ibiza airport. Taxi fare will be around 40 euros. Tell the taxi driver that the apartments are next to the Hotel Club Portinatx. Good rates on car hire are always available from doyouspain.com and car-jet.com.

“Spacious and well situated apartment in lovely part of the island.” Large, decently equipped apartment with large pool -mainly to ourselves. Near to beaches and resort facilities - easy stroll. Beautiful part of the island. Air conditioning would have been nice but for the price I certainly wouldn't complain. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

“Excellent resort, Nice apartment, Hilly location.” No problems at all with apartment, although slight disappointment with location. The complex could have been better cared for, and the location was fine for the beach down in 5 minutes. Back up in half an hour! Loved Portinatx and would definitely return.
