The house is located in a residencial zone on the edge of Santa Maria de Palautordera, at the base of the Montseny natural park. It is a ten minute walk to the centre of the village or a two minute car ride. The immediate neighbourhood is extremely peaceful, the only cars that enter the area belong to the local residents. With the occasional exception, noise levels between 00:00 hours and 09:00 are low. Therefore this is an ideal home for people wanting tranquil nights and not recommendable for those inclined to night time revelry.
Both rural and cultural tourism. 4 km from the MONTSENY NATURE RESERVE (declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO). Ideal for swimming, walking, horseriding, nature spotting. 40 Km. to Barcelona, Girona, Costa Brava... The Costa Brava/Catalonia region
Catalonia has all you could wish for a relaxing, interesting and memorable holiday. It's countryside varies from the high mountain regions in the north, down to the wine planes in the south. There are many national parks protecting forest and wild life and of-course beaches and rivers where you can swim or soak up the sun. Sant Celoni area
The local village is peaceful but as it receives a fair amount of tourists is dotted with shops, bars and restaurants. Saturdays are market days where you'll be able to buy local produce. During the summer months there are various cultural events in all the local villages varying from concerts to kids shows, normally free of charge and in the open air.
