Sansepolcro

The Arezzo territory is located at the meeting point between three of the four valleys surrounding the area. Directly north of the city is the Casentino; the Upper Arno Valley lies to the northeast; and the Chiana Valley to the South. The area is vast and varied: the terrain ranges from flatlands to hillsides to mountains. Neighboring towns include Civitella and Castiglion Fiorentino.

Located on the top of a 345m hill, Castiglion Fiorentino offers magnificent views of the Chio Valley and the Preappennino, which glitters with the silverly light of olive groves. Its strategic position between Arezzo and Chiusi made it a center inhabited during the time of the Etruscans (6th to 5th c. BC); it was an important medieval center as well. The historic center, dominated by the Cassero tower and surrounded by walls, preserves the medieval structure and is testimony to the artistic history of the area since the time of the Etruscans. Its position as border town between Tuscany and Umbria makes it an easy place to get to from many of Italy's cities. Visitors can find traditional cooking, local organic produce and artiginal productions.

Other nearby towns are Laterina, Castiglion Fibocchi, Capolona, Anghiari, Monterchi, Bucine and Cortona, as well as the city of Perugia, in Umbria.

"reposant et plein de charme"

Idéal en plein été, loin de la cohue des villes mais pratique pour rayonner sur Florence, Sienne, Arezzo et San Geminiano. Ancienne villa seigneuriale, murs épais protègent de la chaleur, marbres… More

"Pool and shower facilities excellent, views amazing. Close to town and supermarket."

House very tired. Old and uncomfortable if you have some bad days and need to stay in doors.

Lots of steps so small children may have some difficulty.

Rules on arrival about being quite.

owners on site.!!!!!!!

Kitchen very poor if you are wanting to do more than a cold breakfast or re heat food bought in a supermarket. Not enough cooking equipment and no provisions on arrival.Basic everyday items would have been a bonus.

Fridge /freezer really old.

Beds fine.

Saying all that Owners very pleasant and helpful .

A great holiday made all the more pleasurable by the pool, property position and views.

Expensive cleaning payment at the end of the holiday.
