A 30% deposit on the “rental fee” is required to secure your booking. The balance on the “rental fee” plus £250 (approx €275) “damages deposit” will be required prior to arrival as per the “Terms & Conditions” which are detailed in the “Booking Contract”. This, together with our banker’s details, will be provided in order for you to complete the booking formalities.

Gozo an island with lush verdant land is a paradise for those who are seeking relaxation, tranquillity and fun during their holiday. A mere 20min ferry crossing from the main Island of Malta, Gozo is another world; dominated by tiny beaches, small villages, authentic culture and above all good food. Untouched by the sins of mass urbanisation and all its negative effects; traffic jams, and over development; Gozo is an authentic experience of Mediterranean life.
Despite its small size, it is bursting with history. It is home to the world heritage, prehistoric temple of Ggantija, a centuries-old citadel that proudly stands in the main city of Rabat and the top ten world diving site of Dwejra.
A trip on a Maltese traditional boat around Dwejra will expose and unravel a natural marvel of the Azure Window while a stroll in the countryside will present you with some forgotten agricultural traditions.
Gozo is a holiday place for all those who are seeking to unwind and recover from the hustle and bustle of modern life. It is a holiday place for passionate divers in search of a challenge and families seeking refuge from noise and congestion. However, party goers will also find that Gozitan nights also have a lot to offer.
This traditional farmhouse is located in Sannat, a village to the south of the island. This laid back village is renowned for traditional lace making and architectural craftsmanship. During the summer months, women sit outside their homes to make lace under the breeze of a hot summer day. Well-known also for its impeccable architectural craftsmanship, the village balconies are sculpted with excellent skill and precision. Sannat is also close to the tiny inlet of Mgarr ix-Xini and its magical deep blue sea; an excellent place to indulge in the summer sun that the island is bestowed with.
The Sannat area
Sannat is a quiet village in the south of Gozo. Sannat was the traditional centre of the island's lace-making cottage industry and on rare occasions you still see women sitting on chairs in the shade. At Ta' Cenc, within the limits of ta' Sannat, there is L-Imramma Temple, a primitive type prehistoric temple made up of a sort of an oval court with a series of more or less oval rooms to the north. Other interesting remains are three dolmens, a horizontal, roughly shaped, slab of limestone supported on three sides by blocks of stone standing on end. Ta' Cenc is also famous for its spectacular precipices or cliffs, that are the natural home of several wildlife species, both flora and fauna. Lying low by Ta' Cenc, one could admire the natural beauty of Hanzira valley, a natural gorge separating Sannat from the village of Xewkija. The valley, due to its steep rocky sides, has little signs of human interference and leads down to Mgarr ix-Xini Bay to the South of Gozo. The pebbly beach is a very popular diving site. In fact Mgarr ix-Xini is one of Gozo's best places for diving and the wreck of the once Malta-Gozo ferryboat Xlendi rests on the seabed, a few hundred metres away from the bay's outer stretches.
A bus stop for Bus No. 305 is located opposite the farmhouse. From here you can go directly to Victoria (Rabat) which is the main commercial centre of the island.

Upon landing at Malta’s International airport, one may choose to travel to Cirkewwa ferry port by car or by bus. The ferry to Gozo departs from Cirkewwa and arrives in Mgarr, with a crossing time of approximately 25 minutes.
In Gozo, the bus terminus is in Main Gate Street, Victoria. Buses in Gozo are of aquamarine colour.
Gozo buses are operated by Arriva Malta and details of the transport network can be found on www.arriva.com.mt. A regular service runs to and from Mgarr Ferry port, route 301.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Ta' Sannat. It is a spacious house with a good pool. However it was very hot in August and not easy to sleep without air conditioning. If fitting A/C is not possible on this house, then nets over the windows would help to keep insects out. The last night there was a terrific lightning storm, which was beautiful. but the roof above the master bedroom leaked like a sieve. Response: Thank you very much for the honesty in your comments and for your rating. This helps us to make the necessary on-going improvements in our property and make the reviews more credible. Yes, August was very hot indeed and A/C's could definitely help. As it is a traditional farmhouse which was restored as much as possible to its original state, we do our utmost to retain the authentic feel of the building. Although we are studying this possibility, we want to have the least negative effects, both visual and noise, within the villa which is situated in very quiet and peaceful surroundings. Your comment regarding mosquito nets have been taken on board and are being considered seriously. And what storm it was…not a common occurrence! We would like to thank you profoundly for having informed us of the rainwater issue immediately, despite it being your last night, as this allowed us to look into the matter before the next tenants moved in. The area above the master bedroom was immediately surveyed and action was taken to prevent future ingress of water. We'd like to thank you once again for taking the time to comment and rate our villa. |

Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful neighbourhood. The children and youth had a great time. And in all: What could be more romantic and relaxing than sitting there next to the pool with a view over half of the island in the evening. |
