The area is perfect for anyone interested in combining a city and country holiday ..Within easy striking distance of the city ,it is surrounded by nature with forest walks and wildlife all around with protected wild deer often coming around the house in the quiet of the evening. The setting is totally relaxing with numerous pastimes close by ,.It is suitable for families or groups of up to six people , It is also highly recommended for a romantic break for two with the cosy lounge with fireplace looking out on the city lights below.
Less than a mile away lies the hugh Marley park which has numerous amenities including golf course,craft shops, children's playgrounds, football pitches, tennis,cricket ,model railway, dog area etc etc..
Also within 2 miles is the largest shopping mall in ireland with multi screen cinema and many many other facilities. The local shop, two pubs and restaurant are within one mile of the house and a large supermarket and take away and delivery restaurants are under 2 miles away ... All of Dublin city is at your feet.

There is a fully equiped kitchen and an adjoining dining room with table and chairs for six people

There are also two conservatories attacthed to the house, one of which can be used as a smoking area
Outside there is a decked area with a barbecue and a large lawn area suitable for play
There is a secure car parking area adjacent to the house

The house is on its own grounds surrounded by greenery within a half mile of the city suburbs... There are sheep and horses grazing in the adjacent field. There is wild life all about with a conservation theme and any kind of shooting or hunting can not be allowed
Because of the sheep and horses adjacent to the property ,only quiet under control pets can be allowed on request.

Dublin city has something for everyone-a vibrant modern city, with great shopping and great nightlife, you can also take one of the city tours or just ramble around and take in the rich history of the city stopping at one of the numerous city pubs maybe for a pint of Guinness.
Along the coast on either side of the city are beaches and resorts. The famous seaside resort of Bray with it its long promenade and the harbour town of Dun laoghaire are both within about 20 minutes drive from the property
The Sandyford / Ticknock area
Willowell lies between Rathfarnham and the village of Sandyford where it is possible to hop on the Luas tram directly into the centre of the city.
Within 2 miles of the house is the largest shopping mall in Ireland ,golf courses ,horse riding, children's playgrounds, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants and always something to do including some concerts in the local Marley Park.
On a summers evening why not stay ay home and have a meal out on the deck surrounded by greenery and wildlife or sit and play in the large garden or go for a picnic or a stroll in the surrounding hills

This property is located in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains on the south side of the city. with panoramic views over Dublin City. Even thought it is only about 7 miles to the very heart of the city ,the property has a country feel to it, surrounded by fields with its own private driveway. The largest shopping mall in Ireland lies just 2 miles away in Dundrum with over 160 shops ,with Cinema complex ,Theatre, restaurants etc.
The Ferry ports of Dublin and Dun Laoghaire are about 25 minutes away by car and Dublin Airport is approx 30 minutes drive along the M50 motorway ..
Dublin Airport is the home for the budget airline www.ryanair.com and also www.aerlingus.com ...The M50 motorway which is close by, is the ring road around Dublin and provides access to all parts of Ireland including south to Wicklow and Rosslare Ferry Port in Wexford.
A car would be required for this property. Access to Dublin City is easy by car.. or Bus or Luas tram which are one and two miles away respectively from the house.
Also in the immediate vicinity are golf courses , horse riding ,tennis etc and the start of the world famous Wicklow Way is in the nearby Marley Park .There are two pubs within a mile of the house complete with food and music and the famous Johnny Foxes Pub and Restaurant (proclaimed highest in Ireland ) with its traditional music is a 15 minute uphill drive away.
