Back within the beautiful coral stone walls of the main house is a formal dining room with seating for 12. Whether it’s a formal dinner, a quick breakfast before a round of golf, or a lazy lunch pool-side, Grendon House is the perfect setting.

Grendon provides an abundance of activities within its grounds, including lounging by the serene pool, where you can spend the whole day working on a beautiful tan in the brilliant Barbados sunshine. There are many sun loungers for your use and a shaded gazebo ideal for a fresh-air afternoon nap. Downstairs there is a large games room perfect for hosting a ping-pong tournament or a hand of poker. The lovely spacious patio upstairs which looks out onto the strikingly landscaped gardens has plenty of seating, and a bar where one could easily whip-up some afternoon cocktails: every hour is happy hour in Barbados!

Set on the same beach as the world renowned Sandy Lane hotel, which is one of the most stunning beaches in the world, this Cabana provides a secure location for you to store your belongings while you partake of the sun, sea, and sand that Barbados is known for.The beach attendants will put out your sun loungers and umbrellas ready for your arrival.

Independent since 1966, Barbados is the most developed of the Caribbean islands and Bridgetown, the 375-year-old historic capital is its colourful and bustling center of activity. Shopping, excellent dining and a funky nightlife are just a few of the many options available. There is an extensive bus system that is cheap and fast, providing an entertaining way to discover the island.

There are magnificent caves to explore, gorgeous landscapes and tropical gardens to visit, and an abundance of wildlife to see, including the mischievous little “green monkeys” that call Barbados their home.
