Both Worlds is a beachside complex, our apartment is a three bedroomed air-conditioned property, with three well-furnished double bedrooms. There is a large balcony at the back of the complex, with views across the beach and out to sea. The living room has a TV, DVD player and three piece suite and the kitchen is small but fully equipped.
Gibraltar is like 'Home from Home' with all the good points thrown in, and there is plenty to see and do here from enjoying the beaches and shopping to seeing the famous monkeys. When you have some time to spare take a day trip to Morrocco, or cross to Spain.

Bookings are only deemed to have been made when receipt of deposit is confirmed. A second set of keys can be made available on request.

GUEST ARE REMINDED THAT THIS IS A PERMANANT RESIDANCES FACILITY AND SHOULD ACT ACCORDINGLY. iT IS ONLY SUITABLE AS A FAMILY HOLIDAY. IF A HOLIDAY WITH A BOISTEROUS OR LATE NIGHT PARTY FLAVOUR IS REQUIRED GUEST SHOULD CONSIDER CHANGING THEIR LOCALITY.
Conditions
- The tariff indicates whether the bookings are in the low, middle or high season. Although lease periods are complete weeks and run from Friday/Saturday to Friday/Saturday, arrival and departure can be any day within the lease period
- The apartment must be vacated by 10.00 hrs on the Friday and you can gain entry after 15.00 hrs
- Booking terms: a 20% non-refundable deposit to hold the booking, the rest of the fee plus a £100 bond against damage to be paid six weeks before the arrival date. No reminders sent. If finale remittance isn't received by this date, booking will be deemed to have been cancelled by customer with no refund.
The bond will be returned on recept of the keys (small breakages e.g. Crockery, utensils ,kitchenware will be ignored, only serious damage to furniture and fittings or loss of keys or any damage attributed to smoking, which is only allowed on the balcony will forfeit the bond.)

The Costa de la Luz is the southern tip of mainland Europe, and offers a slightly cooler climate thanks to the Atlantic breezes. The beaches here are quieter, and wider than those further north up the coast. This area is split in two by the marismas which form the Doňana wildlife reserve, the home of wild cattle, eagles, deer and lynxes.
Gibraltar is near the Andalucia region of Spain, on the southern tip of the Costa Del Sol. You are only a short bus ride from places such as Marbella and a bit further to Seville.
The Sandy Bay area
Gibraltar, the gateway to the Mediterranean is a busy sea port , very popular with cruise liners which regular pass by the apartment. As it played a major part in WW11 there are numerous relics of that era, there are regular tours of all the tunnel and caves excavated during that period
Gibraltar is historically connected to the Marie Celeste and Nelson's return trip from the battle of Trafalger. The language spoken is English, Sterling is the currency. However a short walk from the frontier you leave it all behind and enter into mainland Spain. La Linea is a Spanish town, unspoilt by tourist, all the bars, shops,and markets are typically spanish. So whether you are looking for a holiday with a Spanish or British flavour you couldn't pick a better place.

There are two ways of getting to Gibraltar. Either fly to Malaga or fly tro Gibraltar. If you fly to Malaga there are three ways to get to gibraltar.First a oneway hire car(cheaper than a private hire car) approx. £65 but the quickest. Alternatively, catch a bus, much cheaper.There are two choices, catch a bus at Malaga airport and change at Marabella for La Linea, or take a taxi to Malaga bus station and catch a bus straight to La Linea. both journeys take about three hours but it's a pleasent ride. When you arrive at La Linea bus station you will have to make your way to the Gibraltar border crossing which is about 1/4 mile walk( have your passports ready).After crossing the border take a short taxi ride to the apartment ( about one mile). If you fly to Gibraltar you can catch a taxi outside the airport, it takes less than five minutes to get to the apartment. I have been to Gibraltar on holiday many times now, and always stay at this apartment, so I guess this speaks for itself. The apartment is well kept, very comfortable, with three bedrooms. There are televisions in every bedroom and the living area, so it is easy to keep up with the news, or continue to follow favourite programmes. There is a lot to do and see in Gibraltar however, so no need to stay in front of the tv! The owner of the apartment is very helpful, and goes out of his way to provide assistance when necessary, which I needed this year owing to travel problems getting there. All in all I would recommend this apartment to anyone who would like a relaxing holiday in a warm climate, where everyone speaks English! Response: Thank you for your kind response. We stayed in this lovely apartment for 1 week in July! Had everything we needed! Rooms were very spacious and the balcony was lovely! It did feel like being on a cruise ship as you are so close to the sea. The beach was lovely and we enjoyed a couple of days at the beach. The cupboard was stocked with plenty of options for when you arrived, if needed. Kitchen was small, but modern and fully functional. Air conditioning was not always necessary, as there is a cool breeze from th ocean, but it does cost a pound for about an hour. The bus is very convenient and the bus drivers very friendly. Would definatley recommend this apartment for anyone who wants a relaxing beach holiday or touring Gibraltar, Spain and Africa! |
