About the home

This well equipped studio apartment enjoys a superb, quiet location directly facing the sea. it is newly decorated and furnished to a high standard. The large double sofa bed converts from a sofa in to a bed in three easy movements. it has its own private balcony where you can sit and enjoy the wonderful view of the Med. there is air conditioning, Sky TV and lift access just a few yards from the apartment.

A starter pack is included consisting of tea, coffee, milk, a loaf, a small piece of cheese, spread and six eggs.

Linen and towels are provided (not beach towels). There is also a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer within the complex for which tokens can be purchased from reception.

There is also a games room with full size snooker table plus a gym next to the games room.

A 50% deposit (non refundable) is required when booking. Full balance required 1 month prior to stay. A £150 bond is required on arrival and is refundable when you leave.

The Rock of Gibraltar region

There is a diverse range of attractions on offer in Gibraltar. Steeped in a history and culture.

A wide range of activities from rock touring, to sailing, diving, fishing and bird watching bring visitors back again and again.

You can go to the top of the Rock by cable car and see the wonderful view. You can also see Both Worlds from there.You can then walk down to St. Michaels Cave which is really stunning , one of the best caves in the Med. There is also a lower St. Michaels Cave which you can only go with a guide but is well woth seeing.
Ocean Village and Queensway Quay are also really attractive places both with a wide range of of good places to eat out and relax.

The no. 4 bus will also take you into the main town of Gibraltar. There are many familiar shops in town including M & S, BHS, Nwxt etc. as well as a good selection of restaurants and bars. Or you can just sit in the Piazza with a coffee and watch the world go by.

There are many places of interest to see such as the Upper Rock with great views towards Spain or Morocco. You can also arrange to have a tour through the many tunnels inside the Rock.

There is also a small but interesting museum which is well worth a visit.

The Sandy Bay / Both Worlds area

The no.4 bus will take you in to town , there is also another bus service that stop directly out side the main reception door directly into town all bus rides cost from 50p to £1.50p for an all day return, with this ticket you can go any were in Gibraltar an how many times you wish to travel ,or Catalan Bay in just 10mins walk away and the Caleta Hotel and several small bars and restaurants. the no. 4 bus will also take you to Morrison's Supermarket should you need to stock up with food.
so there is no need to hire a car if you do'nt wish to .The busses run from 7am till 9pm ask the bus driver for weekends times .
You can find the Turist Board in casments square if you ask them they will be able to give you what's on Gibraltar for the month.

The easiest way is to fly in to Gibraltar Airport. Which is just 10mins taxi ride from Both Worlds.
British Airways, Hearthrow , Easy Jet Gatwick Liverpool , Monarch Luton Manchester , all flights are directly into Gibraltar
If you wish you can fly into Malaga then you can get hire a car or taxi then you can drive into Gibraltar it takes two half hours to get into Gibraltar . Or you can fly to Jerez it takes one half hours by car into Gibraltar.
From March 2012 next year there will be British M Baby will fly from East Midland into Gibraltar.
All Bus ride are free for everyone in Gibraltar so there is no need to hire a car if you don't wish to . They run from 7am till 9pm . There is now a Bus service that stops directly outside the main reception door directly in to town One more thing pay in Pound's when you eat out ,Instead of euro's you get a better deal,

“magical venue, everything we wanted!” Our studio apartment lived up to all our expectations. As we were unable to arrive until late in the day, the pack of groceries which was left for us was very welcome in fact we enjoyed the bottle of wine while sitting on the balcony before we even unpacked! We wanted for nothing, the apartment was spotless and extremely well equipped. Jill who welcomed us was friendly and was able to answer any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, and for people wishing to get away from the hustle of the town, Both Worlds is the place to be.

“Everything you could want and more” Home from home,lovely to be able to sit and look on to the beach and out to sea, The studio was really well presented and had everything we needed for a lovely holiday.The welcome pack was gratefully received as we arrived rather late at night and without it we would have had to wait till morning for a drink and a bite to eat. The the locaction is on the quiet side of gibraltar but the bus stops straight outside the main entrance and takes you into town.There is even a morrisons supermarket for all the provisions you may need,Plenty of places to eat and drink in casemates square and Ocean village. We managed a couple of day trips into Spain (walk over the border its a lot quicker)and the tourist information in la Linea is helpful with transport timetables as all buses leave from there,Plenty to see and do in Gib just a shame we only had 1 week.Big thankyou to Frances and Sandra and not forgetting Jill

“Everything we wanted and more.” We found it easy to get to Both Worlds by taxi from Gib airport, it is also possible to use the local bus system which was free at the time of our stay. We were greeted in the reception area by the friendly receptionist, who rang Carney, the lady who looks after the studio for the owners (a lovely lady). She came up immediately and took us to the studio and showed us where everything was. The appartment was very clean and well equiped with a lovely balcony looking over the sea. The accommodation is in a perfect position right on the well kept beach which never got crowded. In a quiet location with easy access to town and shops etc by local bus and a 5 min walk to bars and restaurants. In our opinion it was the perfect holiday and we have already booked for 4 weeks next Aug (can't wait!).
