The Kent region

The east of Kent is full of interest. Coastal castles built by Henry VIII, medieval moated manor houses, the spectacular Dover castle high above the white cliffs, not to mention Cantebury Cathedral just a few miles away.

The Kent coast with its famous white cliffs just a few minutes away, offers coastal walks or traditional family seaside venues. Watersports of all kinds are available from jet skiing to sailing and from wind surfing to scuba diving. Nature enthusiasts will find much to occupy them at the RSPB Nature reserve at Dungerness or Samphire Hoe in Dover, a wildlife have reclaimed from the sea with spoil from the Channel Tunnel.

As for sporting activities, fishermen won't need reminding of the great fishing off the beaches. Golfers are catered for at Royal St Georges Golf course, Princes Golf Course and Royal Cinqu Ports Golf Course all within a 10 mile radius.

Gourmets will be spoilt for choice with local vineyards, fish & seafood, Romney Marsh lamb and local breweries. Eating from plain fare in welcoming pubs to fine dining in Michelin-starred restaurants is on your doorstep.

As well as the usual high-street fare, Deal offers interesting specialist shops including fine fishmonger, butcher and baker, as well as a local Saturday farmers' market.

If seaside is your thing, Deal has it in spades an excellent pier and wide pebbly beaches.

Closer to Mistways there are four pubs within walking distance and a fine restaurant (the famous Blazing Donkey) a 15 min walk away.

"would never go there again"

The cottage had not been cleaned. the kitchen was very dirty. toaster was full of grease and grime. microwave didn't work. dishwasher didn't fit properly. floor was filthy. blocked drains outside the entrance for a week. dead mouse in the dining room. old furniture everywhere. dirty bedding. bed bugs. mouse in one of the bedrooms. upstairs bathroom was filthy. toilet brush disgusting. hairs all on the floor from a previous guest. tv didn't work in one of the bedrooms.filthy carpets. overall not a place you would want to stay. found it incredibly stressful staying there. wasn't at all relaxing like a holiday should be.

We've had almost entirely delightful experiences with our clients over a number of years. Unfortunatly, this client arrived expecting to claim a refund. None of the alledged problems were mentioned to us or the housekeepers during the stay. All the comments are entirely bogus as our many safisfied clients will testify.
