Cottage | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 6
Added July 2013 - Stylishly furnished and equipped to a superb standard, Harebell is the perfect place to unwind with family and friends - at any time of year. This welcoming cottage is set in an elevated position above a beautiful secret valley, where a short stroll alongside the beck leads to the breathtaking Sandsend beach. For larger groups, Harebell can be booked together with its neighbour Foxglove, which also sleeps six.
The Valley is an exclusive and award-winning development of 9 excellent cottages. This private and peaceful location enjoys close access to Sandsend beach, a short stroll or drive to Whitby and is perched on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
The ground floor of Harebell comprises a spacious, social open plan kitchen, dining and living area that opens onto a private, south-facing terrace that makes the most of the long summer days and is also equipped with a wood burning fire for cosy winter evenings. Upstairs, the bedrooms and bathrooms are spread over two floors, with the beautiful master bedroom and en-suite occupying the entire top floor. Harebell also enjoys its own private garden and shared landscaped garden.
Venture out by day and you'll find the local area is relaxed, but far from sleepy. There's so much to do – take exhilarating coastal or countryside walks, surf at Sandsend beach, play a round of golf with a dramatic North Sea backdrop or take a sea fishing trip. At night, stay in and barbecue your fresh catch, pop out to one of the local village pubs or excellent restaurants - or indulge in some fish & chips eaten from their paper in Whitby!
