Elegant detached Victorian property set within its own grounds, offering spacious one and two bedroom four star graded self catering accommodation. These charming apartments offer comfort combined with cleaniness to ensure you a most enjoyable stay. Ample parking, guest garden to enjoy, free WiFi, within easy walking to all the amentities Sandown has to offer and is a prefect base to explore the island.

We can also offer discounted car ferry crossings to our customers. Apartment 7 can accommodate up to three people with a sofa bed in the lounge. Parterre is ideally situated for walking, taking the island train or local buses.

Towels are not provided but may be hired.

Each apartment has its own electric meter which requires £1 coins.

Well behaved dogs are welcome by direct arrangement with the proprietors - charges will apply.

The Isle of Wight region

The Isle of Wight lies off the South East coast of England. It is framed by 60 miles of picturque coastlline with subtropical temperatures.

This is the driest area in the country. The island has one of the largest volume of all weather attractions per square mileage in the UK.

There are various events and festivals taking place all year round, which include the largest walking festival in the UK, the Isle of Wight Rock Festival, the award winning Bestival, Cycling Festival and the well known Garlic Festival.

There are many places of interest to see, the famous Needles and Alum Bay with its coloured sands, Osbourne House - home of Queen Victoria, Carisbrooke Castle - where Charles 1 was imprisoned, Godshill with plenty of tea rooms and craft shops and many many more.

Sandown

Sandown lies on the South East of the Island. It still retains its owhn Pier and Victorian charm with a lovely blue flag safe beach that stretchers from Yaverland to Shanklin. Sandown is home to the Isle of Wight Zoo and the famous Dinosaur Isle, where arrangements can be made to go fossil hunting.

There are plenty of shops to browse as well as cafes, restaurants, pubs and a lovely park for all ages to enjoy with crazy golf, bowling outside gym. The Heights Leisure Centre is located in Sandown with gym, swimming pools, spa centre and classes for all ages.

The local train station enables you to take rides to Shanklin and Ryde as well as the many bus routes to take you around the whole of the island. There is also a lovely cliff path walk to Shanklin or easy walking on the esplanade.
