About the home

The Poppies, is our luxurious 5 star spa holiday home and is situated in a quiet, newly built cul-de-sac and offers a relaxing, chill out holiday, and with the added Spa environment it is surely the place to relax and unwind. The Poppies is fitted with extremely high quality furnishings and appliances throughout the property. Everything from our top of the range Catalina Spa right down to the Delonghi coffee and cappuccino machine with its “from bean to cup at the press of a button” technology.

Our kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need and more with quality furnishings.

Centrally located in the lounge, is our 50 inch plasma TV offering all our guests full use of SKY HD with movie & sport packages.

Bedrooms are all fitted with high quality mattresses and furniture. And our contemporary theme to the property is continued throughout the house.

Facilities

Kitchen: fully equipped down to the last detail, some of the items include, granite worktops, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, gas hob with electric oven, Denby crockery and a Delonghi coffee bean cappuccino machine.

Lounge: good sized lounge with 2 large luxurious leather couches and large snuggle chair. 50' inch plasma TV with full SKY HD TV including movie and sport channels (box office and pay per view not available) bose dual cube 5.1 surround sound speakers and Sony cinema effect surround sound system. Sony CD/DVD player & AM/FM stereo. A choice of lamps and mood lighting for those relaxing evenings. The walls display a selection of quality photographs of the Isle of Wight as well as our fine art collection from the artist’s Emile Bellet and Linda Le Kinff.

Conservatory: large solid oak dining table with comfortable full leather high back chairs and contemporary furnishings. Dimplex remote control electric log burning fire.

Further details outdoors:
At the front of the property there is a table and seating area as well as a gas BBQ, perfect for alfresco dining. The front of the property gets the Sun all day long. Parking is available for 1 car at the front of the property. More parking available near by.

The side garden to the property is home to the self contained spa room and therefore leaves a small paved area which is fully secured for yourselves to relax in and for your small pets to roam safely.

The Spa Room with its double aspect sliding patio doors is home to a top of the range 6 person Catalina Spa (additional fee of £100.00 per booking) with captains chair and lounger positions with led mood lighting. Built in CD Stereo system. 2 person Doctor Detox box (infra red dry sauna) The water is changed each time new guests arrive, therefore please note in the event arrival and departure of guests is on the same day, the temperature of the spa may take up to 12 hours to reach desired temperature.

The isle of wight is a beautiful island offering many places of interest. Known for its quieter pace of life. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

There is a lot of history that the island has to offer queen Victorias summer home and various manors and castles to visit.

One of the most southern parts of England the climate is usually on the sunnier side

Walking distance to Sandown Cliff Top, Beaches and High Street all within 5 minutes.
Utopia Spa is located behind the property, however the entrance is in the adjacent road, approx 5 minute walk.
Sandown Leisure Centre is less than 5 minutes away.
Nearby Sandown Golf Course, Dinosaur Isle, Amazon World, Robin Hill and Shanklin Old Village.

The islands premier golf course just 10 min walk away.

Please not that there is a £100.00 extra charge for use of the Spa and detox room per booking.( This is because the water is replaced with each new guest and running costs)

Please note our arrival and departure day is always Saturdays unless minimum 3 day stay by arrangement.

Car ferry tickets can also be arranged by ourselves at discounted rates. At various times of the year we can negotiate slightly better rates with the ferry companies. We advise you to try the ferry companies website first for any special offers they may have and let us know their best price to see if we can beat it.
