The Sicily region
Sicily is the biggest and most highly populated island in the Mediterranean, is the land of sun. Sicily has 1.500 km of coasts and its sea has such a mild temperature that bathing is possible from late spring to autumn.
The difference in temperature between the coasts and the mountainous inland part sometimes exceeds 5-10 degrees Celsius. For this reason too 4/5 of Sicilians live along the coasts, on the sea, where there are the biggest cities, like Palermo and Trapani. Sicily is both a bridge between Europe and Africa and a platform between the eastern and the western Mediterranean.
At one time it was at the centre of the world. Different peoples succeeded one another unceasingly: mythical peoples and historical peoples, one after another, one on top of the other. The very name that the Greeks gave Sicily and southern Italy - Magna Grecia - indicates that for the Greeks Sicily was not just a mere colonial venture, but a destiny.
San Vito Lo Capo area
The promontory of San Vito lo Capo shares its name with the beach and the fishing village which developed around an old Saracen fortress, later turned into a shrine dedicated to San Vito. Tourism is the chief activity of this region. The climate, the beach, the sea, the lanes full of flowers, the intense scents and the breathtaking views provide the visitor with unforgettable memories. The tourist is fascinated by the crystal-clear sea, famous for the sand and the ancient Tuna Fishing.
In September there are two important fest, "Tempu ri Capuni" where you can taste the local fish and the "Cous Cous festival" where you can tast a typical dish of San Vito lo Capo. Between San Vito lo Capo and Castellamare del Golfo the hillsides, gently sloping to the sea in a myriad of the Zingaro Reserve. Narrow paths, specially laid out on the slopes, lead to the sea or climb up the hills, making it possible to sight one of the most intact Mediterranean ecosystems.
Furthermore near San Vito lo Capo you can visit wonderful itineraries such as Scopello, Segesta, Erice, Trapani, Marsala, Selinunte, Mozia and Egadi Islands.

Further details indoors: The house is endowed of a sea view living-room with a fully equipped kitchen, tv set, sofa, fire, mosquito-net, ventilators, refrigerator with freezer, two bedrooms with two single beds, a bathroom with shower; on the first floor, accessed from an internal staircase, there is a double-bedroom and an other bathroom with shower.
Further details outdoors: Outside there are a sea view terrace and a patio where you can organize some beautiful breakfast, lunch or dinner, barbecue and car parking.

From May to October we organize arrive and departure from Saturday to Saturday. Villas will be ready from 3.00pm on the Saturday of your arrival and on the Saturday of your departure please ensure the villa is vacated by 10.00am to allow for cleaning etc.
Bed and Bath Linen and Final Cleaning One set of bed and bath linen (per person) are included in the price as is the final cleaning of the villa. Water, Gas & Electric Are all included in the price.
Cook/Maid Service & Tour Guide Excursions We can organize some excursions in boat on the Zingaro Reserve.
Pets are permitted.
