Only for the summer time (july and august) I usually rent it from saturday to saturday or from sunday to sunday.

The area is quiet and served by public transport.

Nearby are shopping centers and ATM (500 meters). Bars and restaurants 800 meters.

The beach (equipped and free) is about 1 km.


About 1 hour (80 km) from Pescara airport.

If you arrive by car (A14), the exit is Vasto-Sud.

If you arrive by train, the stop is to Vasto-San Salvo.

If you arrive by coach from Rome or Naples, the bus stop is Piazzale Arafat San Salvo Marina (about 600 mt).

The Marche/Abruzzo region


Many beaches ranging from San Salvo to Ortona. This corner of Abruzzo boasts a coastline that features scenes of great beauty : a clear blue sea between high cliffs, rocks, coves and long beaches of fine sand.

The beach of SAN SALVO (free and equipped) is long, wide and sandy, only few kilometers from the city center .

About 18 km from San Salvo Marina, is worth visiting the nature reserve of Punta Aderci, which with an area of about 285 hectares, protecting the area between Punta Penna and the mouth of the river Sinello. Right here is the beautiful pebble beach of Mottagrossa: lonely and untouched is lapped by crystal clear and crystalline water. Punta Aderci is a reserve to be discovered by the slow pace of our walking, mountain - biking on the old railway track, canoeing or just enjoying the tranquility of the nearby beaches, such as the nearby Punta Penna.

Going to the north ( from Ortona to Vasto ), you reach the nerve center of COSTA TRABOCCHI, a sea characterized by the presence of ancient fishing machines "made of planks and beams" that the poet D' Annunzio called " similar to a spider colossal".

In San Vito you can visit the places that inspired Gabriele D'Annunzio, as the Promontory Dannunziano: a corner of paradise, a landscape unique viewpoint from a pebble beach and crystal clear water.

Other places of interest are the Abbey of San Giovanni in Venere and the English Cemetery of Torino di Sangro .


- San Salvo: the historic center houses the Archaeological Park of the Quadrilateral, inside the museum door of the Earth, almost entirely underground which houses finds from the surrounding area, long a journey into the past 3,000 years.

Another stop of interest is the museum spread La Giostra della Memoria, a unique place, and guardian of the collective memory of the local folklore .

- Vasto: formerly known as Histonium, Vasto has ancient origins. Legend has it that it was founded by Diomedes, a veteran of the Trojan War.

To visit: the Civic Museum of Palazzo d' Avalos and Art Gallery.

- Lanciano: the city is known throughout the world for the Eucharistic Miracle .

To visit: the Museums of the Holy Spirit and the Basilica of San Francesco which houses the precious relics of the Eucharistic Miracle .

- Termoli is characterized by the presence of a promontory on which stands the old fishing village, surrounded by a wall that falls above the sea. From the harbor you can sail to the Tremiti Islands .


Advancing from the coast inland, well worth a visit the charming little villages of Monteodorisio, Lentella, Tufillo, Palmoli, Carunchio, Schiavi d'Abruzzo, Fraine and Roccaspinalveti .

In the Sangro - Aventino area you can visit the villages of Casoli, Roccascalegna, Fara San Martino, Lama dei Peligni, Taranta Peligna, Gessopalena, Palena, Montenerodomo, Tornareccio.


Majella is the Mother Mountain, the guardian of a mystical and unspoilt nature, imbued with a sacredness that historically monumental inspired the hermit's life. Rugged and wild landscapes is characterized by a wide range of flora that can boast over 2100 different plant species, 1 /3 of the national flora and fauna with the presence of chamois, roe deer, deer, golden eagle, the brown bear, the wolf. The Majella National Park is one of three National Parks of Abruzzo, between the various visitor centers, guests can visit the Natural History Museum of Fara San Martino, the Center visit Locati Maurizio Lama Peligni which has a large section dedicated to chamois Marsicano and the Museum of Palena . Among the many nature reserves in the area between the Trigno - Sinello and the Sangro - Aventino, do not miss the Natural Reserve Lecceta of Torino di Sangro, the " Rio Verde Falls", the " Don Bosco Venanzio " the Regional Natural Reserve of Punta Aderci 's " Abetina Rosello ," the Regional Natural Reserve of Lake Serranella .


Countless paths for lovers of Trekking and MTB .

Rafting : Rafting Abruzzo, the center of which a couple of years brought down the river in an inflatable boat on the rapids of river Aventino is located at the edge of the Majella National Park in Civitella Messer Raimondo .


A tour to fully know the local culinary traditions, through farms, winery tours and banquets on the "trabocchi" ( several along the coast have been " converted " in restaurants hanging over the sea where you can have lunch or dinner with the catch of the day).
