Home description
The property is situated in San Pedro del Pinatar on the Mediterranean coast of the Costa Calida/Murcia region. With over 300 days of sun shine a year it has recently been voted one of the healthiest places to live by the world Health Organisation.
The apartment is within walking distance or short drive to the blue flag beaches on the mar manor or the Mediterranean coast. The mar manor has excellent beaches for children containing climbing frames and play areas. The waters are also calm with no waves and very shallow no matter how far you walk out.
In the town of San Pedro , banks, supermarkets, night clubs and a casino can be found and there are always events taking place in the town square. San Pedro also has a bus station that has regular services to nearby cities including Cartagena, Murcia, Alicante, Torrevieja and Madrid.
Murcia's airport called San Javier is only a 10 minute drive away

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The Costa Calida, which literally means “warm coast” is in the Murcia region of Spain. This area is famous for the growing of fruit and vegetables and has one of the best climates in the whole of the country.
Located near the pretty Spanish coastal town of Lo Pagan and situated next to the mar manor, there are a large variety of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops.
Also nearby and within walking distance or cycling you can find the famous salt lakes and nature reserves that are a home to a variety of migrating birds including flamingoes.
With old salt lakes and nature reserves scattered around the area, it is a haven for flora and fauna including flamingoes and other migratory birds.
With over 300 days of sunshine a year and a below average rainfall count, this really is a special place to visit.
San Pedro Del Pinatar area
San Pedro del Pinatar is a traditional Spanish town with bars, cafes, restaurants, shops, supermarkets and outdoor markets.
The mar manor has numerous activities close by including water sports, canoeing, fishing, bird watching and is well known for its international golf courses including the world famous La Manga club.
Other golf courses within a 15 minute drive are Villamartin, La Sarena, Roda Golf, La Finca, Marquessa, Torre Pacheco and Mosa Trajectrum.
Also in close by Lo Pagan there are the salt baths that have been proven to contain healing properties for various skin and rheumatism complaints. The salt baths contain muddy deposits that can be rubbed into the skin to cure arthritis and other skin or bone complaints.
How to get there
You can fly from Luton, Stansted, Gatwick, East Midlands, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and numerous other airports to Murcia San Javier airport, which is approx 2 hours and 15 minutes flight time.
Airlines include Ryanair, Easyjet, JET2.com, Iberia, Flybe, and more. Fly into Murcia, the airport San Javier is only 10mins from the apartment.
Alicante airport is also only 40 minutes away from San Pedro del Pinatar.
All main car hire companies are available from the airport but are advised to be booked before, to make sure of availability and a good price.
Local taxis are also available at the airport for about 20 euros.
The AP7 motorway is only a few minutes away from the apartment and runs all the way up and down the coast.

Further details indoors: The apartment is a bright comfortable home from home environment with good quality furnishings for that extra comfort. Situated on the first floor, the entry point is straight onto the balcony with rocking chairs and dining furniture that over looks the communal pool. You then step into the lounge and open plan dining area containing a relaxing corner sofa with TV, DVD, extendible dining table and chairs.
The rooms accessible from the lounge area are. Bedroom one with double bed, fitted wardrobes,draws and safe. Bedroom 2 with twin beds fitted wardrobes and draws. Bathroom with W.C, sink, bath and shower.
Kitchen with fridge freezer. oven/hob cupboard space and door onto rear utility balcony, containing washing machine and clothes dryer.
All windows are covered with aluminium roller blinds to stop the sun and for that extra security. We also have 2 bicycles, sun loungers and parasol that can be used.
Further details outdoors: Outside the apartment in the complex is the communal pool with shallow pool and plenty of space around to relax and make the most of your time. The pool area has seating and shaded tree areas for if you need to get out of the midday sun.
Close by to the complex you will find bars, cafes, shops, play areas, spas, nature reserves and much more to make your time in Spain that little bit more special.
