Casa de Ana is a 3 bedroom terraced town house situated in a Spanish town, close to the beautiful Mar Menor and Mediterranean sea. The house is on three levels: spacious lounge/ dining area, fully equipped kitchen, downstairs toilet and single bedroom on ground floor, double bedroom with balcony, twin bedroom and family bathroom on first floor, and then up to a large roof solarium where there is always a choice of sun or shade.

There is a local shop very near to the house and supermarkets nearby. There are several authentic tapas bars/restaurants and other types of cuisine available including indian, chinese and pizza. Festivals take place throughout the year in the town square. There is a market on mondays. The town offers an authentic Spanish feel.

For water lovers the nearby unspoilt Mediterranean beach is a walk through the sand dunes of a nature reserve. Nearby , the Salt Lakes are home to flamingos and other bird life. They are spectacular at sunset. The town is also situated along the edge of the Mar Menor, a coastal lagoon which provides warmer, calm, shallow water, great for families to enjoy. The white sandy beach has a small play park for children. There are cafes and restaurants nearby for refreshments. A beautiful promenade divides the Mar Menor and Salt Lakes, where you can indulge in a therapeutic mud bath or simply walk safely, day or evening.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region

San Pedro is situated in a conservation area, hence there are few tall buildings, adding to the relaxing benefits of this area. In addition, the local area/region is great for walking, cycling, watersports and golf....3 championship golf courses are within 15 minutes drive.

For those wishing to venture further afield, Torrevieja, Murcia, La Manga and the Sierra Espuna National Park make ideal days out.

San Pedro Del Pinatar area

The Marina de las Salinas (harbour) 1km from the house, has been redeveloped and has a watersports centre, offering scubadiving, kitesurfing, windsurfing etc. (further details available on request). There are also good dive centres at Cabo de Palos (near La Manga).

There is a Thalasia Spa centre 2 minutes walk from the house. This is an indoor, salt water spa, great for relaxation and indulgence all year round! Large heated, floodlit pools with jacuzzis and jets, also physiotherapy, beauty and therapeutic treatments available for face and body.
