Home description
Immaculate, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, holiday home with communal pool, private roof terrace, balcony and front patio. Well located, beautifully furnished and equipped to a very high standard including hot/cold airconditioning, TV, DVD player with DVDs, Stereo and CDs plus Playstation and games. An ideal place for a family holiday or for couples wanting a more relaxed holiday.
Kitchen comprises fridge/freezer, microwave, oven/hob, toaster, kettle etc. Barbecue, washing machine and laundry facilities are in the outside utility area.
Large front patio complete with patio furniture, balcony with table and chairs and roof terrace with sun loungers and views of the salt lakes.
The communal pool is for the exclusive use of guests and residents. Inflatables are provided for the children.
An excellent location, the property is within easy walking distance to the Mar Menor with its unspoilt 'blue flag' beaches, famous mud baths and average water temperature of 18 degrees centigrade (rising to 30 degrees in the summer) make it ideal for all. Also close to the salt lakes and regional park which offers protection to flocks of flamingos, wild life and migratory birds.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The city of Murcia has developed into a modern city full of art, architecture and museums. The region is well known for its high quality craftwork, clay, wood, wrought iron, silk and decorative pottery. There are many festivals through out the year, the most notable are The Spring Festival and The Flamenco Festival.
The Mediterranean coast (Costa Calida) has beaches of fine sand and the Mar Menor offer great possiblities for water sports.
Alicante is easily accessible and has great beaches, plenty of history, culture and museums as well as festivities.
San Pedro Del Pinatar area
Lo Pagan/San Pedro
Lo Pagan/San Pedro are situated on the north west corner of the Mar Menor only a ten minute drive from Murcia San Javier airport and approx. 45 minutes from Alicante (transfers from both airports can be arranged). Flights to both airports are available from the UK by the majority of budget airlines. In the summer Lo Pagan/San Pedro are pleasant beach resorts with numerous bars and restaurants and miles of promenade shaded by palm trees. Nightlife is plentiful with clubs, bars and street cafes, outside shows and beach activities plus a fairground by the marina. In low season it is more restful but there are still plenty of shops, bars and restaurants available. For those who enjoy shopping, there is 'Dos Mares' a shopping centre only 2 km away with two floors of modern shops cafes, cinema, amusement arcade and bowling alley. There is a large weekly market held on Mondays in San Pedro and Thursdays in Lo Pagan also a Culture Hall, theatre and the main church in the square.
The Mar Menor
The Mar Menor (Minor Sea) is separated from the Mediterranean by a strip of land 22Km long which forms a barrier and has created a shallow warm lagoon. The beaches are clean and sandy and the water is no more than 7 meters at it's deepest making it ideal for children. Because of this depth the water warms quickly and this temperature remains throughout the season. The climate of the Mar Menor guarantees pleasant temperatures all year round. The Mar Menor, is famous for its therapeutic mud baths and salt lakes and is the ideal location to ease away those aches and pains. There is a new thalasatherapy and spa centre half a mile from the property offering natural treatments as well as a bit of pampering, details of treatments available are provided in the guest book.
Additional local activities include diving, fishing, cycling, horse riding, bird watching, sailing, para gliding, water skiing, wind surfing, jet skiing, cimema, bowling, boat trips, health spas and museums.
The property is located within a 10 minute drive to 3 fantastic golf courses and 30 minutes to the famous La Manga. Details of the golf courses and how to book a round are provided in the guest book.
The larger town of Torrevieja is a short drive (or bus ride) away and has many night clubs, bars restaurants, cinemas, bowling, shops, parks, arcades, go karting and a marnina.
Whilst a car is not essential, if you are holidaying at low season or require a wider choice of restaurants or bars you should consider hiring one.

There is a meet/greet, cleaning and laundry charge of charge of 50 Euros for 4 staying, payable on arrival.
A deposit of £100 is required to confirm the booking and will be returned within 14 days of departure following a check by the key holder. Please note a deposit of £200 is required for stays longer than 14 nights or if your party is over 4 in total.
Renatl payment is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. If a cancellation is made 8 weeks or less prior to arrival, the rental will only be returned if the dates are successfully re-booked, guests are therefore advised to have adequate travel insurance.
Smoking is not permitted inside the house, although guests are free to smoke on the terrance, balcony or patio. If during the departure check it is found that this has not been adhered to, or if exxcessive cleaning is required, the deposit will be forfeited.
Airport transfers, food welcome packs and nursery equipment hire are available on request. Maid service can be arranged for stays of 14 days or more.
