This 3-bedroom first floor holiday rental in Los Naranjos has a contemporary design, which allows for maximum functionality and space. The holiday apartment features a large living with dining area, master bedroom with en suite, a further double bedroom with en suite facilities and a large twin bedroom, guest toilet; modern fitted kitchen and free to view satellite TV. Two bedrooms boast flat screen tvs and dvd players.

The apartment is located in the security community of Los Naranjos. The urbanisation itself boasts a large tropical garden, fountain and the main feature is a very large lagoon pool with sun loungers and for the younger visitors there is a childrens pool.

Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere in the town of San Pedro which is a mere 2 minute walk away. Even though San Pedro is an increasingly popular tourist destination it still manages to maintain the spanish way of life. There are numerous tapas bars, bars, restaurant, supermarkets, banks etc.

If you would consider yourself more of a beach bum then the paseo or promenade is a 2 minute walk to the south, with its various chiringuitos (beach bars) and beach clubs overlooking the shimmering Mediterranean sea.

If you are a sports fanatic there numerous top golf clubs within a 5 minute drive. If the gym, cycling, exercise classes, tennis or padel are more your thing then the Nueva Alcantara Padel Club is the place to be. Courts, classes or bicycles can be hired from the reception. Other perks include a very reasonably priced restaurant (serving food all day), bar open all day with a relaxed atmosphere and of course there is free WIFI.

Great food, friendly people and lots to see and do. Ideal for a getaway at any time of year.

The Andalucia region

Andalucia the Costa del Sol is the most famous for its lovely beaches and resorts, such as Marbella, but the area has so much more to offer. In recent years there has been a surge in rural tourism, with travellers looking to escape the normal tourist trappings and experience a taste of the real Spain.

The White Villages of Andalucia are world famous. Whilst Mijas Pueblo is quaint and is one of the White Villages per se, it has become extremely popular with tourists to the extent that while it has all the looks and charm, one does not get a true feel of a sleepy Andalusian village when walking through its streets. These seven pueblos blancos located throughout the region are some of the best examples of the Andalusian white villages. Each one has something different to offer: from mountain-top views to fine leather work, from Moorish monuments to natural sulphur spas.

Ronda sits about 60 km inland. Perched on a breathtaking gorge, the town is picturesque and perfect for amateur photographers. It is possible to drive from Malaga or Marbella, the latter being the easy and prettier drive. The winding road gradually climbs inland and there are many beautiful viewpoints along the way.

Lying slightly inland is the quiet village of Coin. Divided from the sea front towns of Torremolinos, Benalmadena and Fuengirola by the mountain range that runs parallel to the coast line, Coin has escaped most of the development that has occurred in many other villages; life goes on at its normal steady pace.

In southern Spain, in Andalucia, is situated Seville, probably the most Spanish city of all Spanish cities.

San Pedro de Alcantara

Marbella's motto is "A Way of Life" and this luxurious resort town seems to have it all and is, once again, rising to the fore as a favourite location with the rich and famous, as well as more ordinary folk, who are willing to pay just a little bit extra for southern Spain's answer to St Tropez. But Marbella has a down to earth side too, which can be best appreciated by exploring back streets in the old part of town.

Puerto Banus is located just west of Marbella and is totally different as it is a young a brash resort and is the place to be pampered yachtside and ogle those fabulous luxury yachts while sipping a drink at one of the many open air restaurants and bars. The setting is close to ideal, with its impressive mountain backdrop and ocean views.

San Pedro de Alcántara is in an ideal situation, just 10 kilometres west from all the glitz and glamour of Marbella, yet just a few minutes drive away from the natural beauty of the Sierra de Ronda mountain range and 20 km from the town of Estepona. An ancient farming community, once famous for sugar cane, today San Pedro is a refreshingly unspoilt pueblo with an appeal all of its own.

Be sure to head for the central plaza here with its gracious parish church and surrounding narrow streets which are packed with intriguing small shops, sidewalk cafes and bars. Thursday is street market day with all the associated hustle and bustle; a veritable bargain shopper's paradise.

A pleasant walk is from the centre of town to the beachfront along the Avenida del Marques del Duero which is a particularly attractive wide avenue flanked by palm trees. And the modern wide promenade is ideal for continuing your stroll, cycle (or skateboarding!) with several excellent chiringuitos (beachside restaurants) specialising in fish dishes. Visit Bora Bora or Guyaba if only for a drink at the bar. It is one of the best beach clubs on the coast, with a superb restaurant and all the usual beach facilities, a tropical paradise.

San Pedro also has the last summer fair ( feria ) in Andalucia being in the second week in October.
