Superb south-facing apartment just outside San Pedro 5 minutes from Puerto Banus Marina in award-winning gated development with 3 swimming pools (each with its children pool), tropical gardens, water falls less than a mile from the beach. Also restaurants, bars, night entertainment in shopping area nearby (10 minutes walk). Surrounded by some of the best golf courses of the Costa del Sol.

The beautiful resort of El Campanario is one of the success stories of the Marbella property boom. The stunning tropical gardens won the prestigious award two years running for best gardens on the Costa del sol & the UK's prime time TV show “A Place in the Sun” voted it as one of their top projects on the southern coast of Spain.

There is an extensive and very spacious modern sofa in living room (2 bedrooms: 1 double bed and ensuite bathroom, the other with twin beds and 1 extra spare bed for guests). There is also 1 flat screen TV in bedroom 1 with double bed and another flat screen TV in bedroom 2 also with XBOX video console (also plays DVDs). We can also provide a cot.

The apartment boasts exceptional level of finishes with marble floor throughout , 2 spacious bathrooms with powerful showers and the interior design is sleek, new, modern and relaxing. The surface is 130m2 and the terrace is extensive.

This is a very exclusive award-winning gated development with impressively lush tropical gardens, water falls and also ponds with frogs, Japanese fish and there is extensive flora throughout. It has 3 swimming pools designed for maximum privacy (each with a children's pool), all surrounded by the incredible vegetation.

The complex has three main areas of apartments in total with its own dedicated garden, making 3 areas in total. Each garden has its own unique design and boasts an adult swimming pool and a separate children pool. All these gardens are interlinked by stone pathways and charming wooden bridges which cross fish ponds fed by waterfalls cascading down over rock features. It's quite an impressive sight and there's no denying the gardens create a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere throughout the whole complex. It is certainly of luxury standard and a permanent team of seven full-time gardeners is in-house to make it a reality. is illuminated at night and swimming then is a unique experience.

Designed in an Indonesian style by Ruth García of respected Marbella interior designers ID Latinia, the clubhouse is truly a stunning affair with for for lovers of fine food, a restaurant and bar with a charming al-fresco terrace , where house specialities include marinated tuna, foie with ricotta and gratinated black rice with ali-oli and crayfish. For lovers of good food, fine wines and a convivial atmosphere, the elegant Restaurant and Bar – the only area of the club which is open to the general public– is the place to be, day or night. Specialising in creative, seasonal Mediterranean cuisine. During the day, with its relaxed and informal atmosphere, you can choose from a tempting array of light meals and snacks, while as night falls it becomes the perfect spot for chic and intimate dining. There are also two tennis and two paddle courts (20€ 1h30).

The Costa del Sol region

The Costa del Sol is a 100 miles in Málaga province and it is one of the most popular Spanish tourist destinations, with its kilometres of sandy beaches. It also boasts a very mild climate and even at the height of the summer it is always pleasant thanks to the gentle sea breeze (in winter the temperature during the day is usually between 13-20 degrees)– visitors and residents alike can enjoy the beaches, as well as alfresco dining plus a never ending variety of outdoor activities, all year round with golf one of the most popular.

The apartment is surrounded by some of the best courses of the region and a favourite season for golfing is between September and April.

San Pedro de Alcantara

El Campanario award-winning development is situated between Marbella and Estepona only 5 minutes drive from Puerto Banus Marina. Only 400 yards from the apartment is a shopping area (Comercial Diana) with restaurants, bars (some with pool table)s, supermarket, vet and dog grooming, bakery, butcher's and more. There is the El Presidente beach nearby (less than a mile from apartment) across main road with restaurants and bars for al fresco eating with your feet in the sand including the Marriott hotel facilities.

However the best beaches are in nearby San Pedro and Puerto Banus (Playa del Duque) only a 5 minute drive from development. Also beautiful beaches in Estepona (10 minutes drive) or to the East in Marbella with Rosario beach where actor Antonio Banderas has a house or Cabopino beach with its dunes and fine sand (nudist beach on western side for those who would rather swim au naturel).

San Pedro has a brand new seafront with many restaurants and bars to enjoy. Also a sea promenade from near apartment in Guadalmina going along the beaches all the way to Puerto Banus Marina.
