The Costa del Sol region


Marbella is a fantastic place for holidays due to its golf facilities, beaches, and extraordinary good weather (the micro-climate allows you to enjoy a pleasant Mediterranean climate all year round, with bright sunny days for the greater part of the year). The old town is full of nice bars for tapas, and for children the main attractions not to be missed are Selwo Safari Park, Aquaparks, Tivoli World, Fuengirola zoo and Mijas. For golf players Marbella is just the paradise, for this reason nowadays we talked about "Costa del golf" instead of "Costa del sol".
The San Pedro de Alcantara / Guadalmina Alta area
In our apartment you will find a full explanation about the best attractions in the area, with telephone numbers and all the details to book.
In Guadalmina there is a famous golf camp with golf courses and it is just in front of our apartment. But in a short distance (less than 10 m driving), you wil find several golf camp as La Quinta, Nueva Andalucia or Los Arqueros. There is also water-sky nearby the apartment.
San Pedro´s beaches are fantastic, but also it is possible to go to Marbella or Estepona in only 10 m by car. If you prefer interior village, Benahavís is only 15 m by car. In 1 hour you can go to Gibraltar or to Ronda, typical Spanish village on the mountains.

- Malaga airport is 50 km from the apartment. it is possible to rent a car there, and there are also special buses connecting the airport with Marbella in 45 minutes.
- Gibraltar airport is 70 km from the holiday home.
- Malaga train station is 60 km, and there are special buses which connect the railway with Marbella.
- From Marbella to San Pedro de Alcántara you can go by bus or by taxi (only 15 minutes).
- If you decide to rent a car, you have to drive by A7 or AP7 following the signs out of the airport for Algeciras. If you are coming by A7, you have to pass San Pedro de Alcántara and on your right you will find Guadalmina exit. If coming by AP 7 you have to exit at San Pedro de Alcántara.
Wherever you come (airport, railway station) our drivers can pick you up with an extra-charge (they speak English and can give your a lot of information about the rental apartment and the area).
