A large, luxury 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, designer furnished, ground floor apartment. Benefitting from a much larger lounge than most on the complex ,video entry system, hot/cold air-conditioning and log fire.. Hacienda del Sol is a much sought after resort situated between The 5 * Marriot and new 5* Crown Plaza in an exclusive and secure gated development with lifts and underground carpark. The beach, with 2 very good beach bars, adjacent to nature reserve, is 200mtrs away, directly accessed by a large pedestrian walkway.
As this is our home in Spain it is not an ordinary rental apartment. It is furnished to an extremely high standard of specification and cleanliness. The lounge has 2 leather settees, (one a double sofa bed), modern units, coffee table, large glass dining table,leather chairs seating 6.For your entertainment there is free Wi-Fi, Free view Sat channels. , D.V.D, selection of CDs, DVD's, books, games, & toys. We now have a larger Flat screen tv,HDMI connections etc, and hi-fi with integral iphone charger.
Double glass sliding patio doors lead to large, south facing private patio with table and chairs from where you can observe the pools a few metres away. Being on the ground floor means that the terrace is double sized, half covered to provide a shaded area for dining and relaxing. For sun worshippers the other half is in full sun all day long.Terrace is gated to keep your little darlings from wandering! Also, a big bonus is that the fridge is only a room away, unlike 1st & 2nd floor apts. Direct access from terrace to exclusively designed gardens and gated swimming and paddling pools, paddle tennis courts , gym/saunas and the largest Jacuzzi you have ever seen!!
Kitchen is superbly equipped with everything you will need including plastic beakers,plates etc for children & terrace . Fully fitted with granite worktops,electric fan oven, ceramic hob,stainless steel micro-wave, large fridge/freezer, dish-washer, juicer ,new beech-block sideboard table that really helps when working in kitchen. Cocktail table and stools.
Utility room with washer drier and extra sink.
2 luxury marble bathrooms. En suite with large walk-in power shower, plus bath with shower over, and bidet.
No2, bath with shower over and bidet. 2 bedrooms,one with king-size bed, overlooking pool and one with 2 singles, both rooms with large fitted wardrobes, drawers etc.Extra wardrobes and drawers situated in hall. More wardrobes than we have at home !
ACCESSIBILITY-
A car is not a necessity as there are an array of local bars, shops, restaurants and a bank within a 5min walk. 2 bus stops are located directly outside the complex with regular services to Puerto Banus,Marbella and Estepona.
-Access to the apartment for people with walking difficulties is good. It is on the ground-floor with a lift from the front door to the garage making it easy to transport shopping and children from the car.
There is direct access to pool from patio.In an adjacent pool there is a mobility hoist.The complex is on level ground with easy walking access to beach , making it ideal for the elderly or those with young children.

Cot can be hired for £20 per week . Please provide your own linen for cot.

Large, south facing patio, with dining table and 6 chairs, enjoys sunshine all day, with views overlooking landscaped gardens and pools . Direct access to gated pools from terrace. Ample sunbeds provided. No need to get up at 5am to reserve them !
Our pool has its own toilet and shower block.
Life Guard in peak season.
Adjacent to apartment across lawn are tennis courts,fully equipped gym/saunas& large Jacuzzi.
Beneath gym we have a table tennis table.
A 5 min walk along a pleasant pedestrian path brings you to the beach. On the beach there are 2 beach bars and a children's playground. To the right of the beach bar is a walk along the undeveloped beach and the nature reserve. To the left, on the beach at the Atalya Parque Hotel is the water sports centre offering scuba diving, deep sea fishing, sailing etc.
British Bowling club and horse riding nearby.

Conditions
No dogs, no smoking. A non-refundable booking deposit of 25% of the total rental price is payable by the Rental Client as confirmation of the booking.
The remaining balance of the rental sum is to be paid 8 weeks before arrival.
If booking less than 8 weeks before your holiday the full balance will be payable at the time of booking. A refundable breakages deposit of £400 is required either 2 weeks before , or upon arrival.
€50 charge for loss of access control key cards.
€25 charge for arrivals after 21:00 hrs. To be paid locally
We cannot be held responsible for incidents outside our control.
Receipt of deposit confirms acceptance of these conditions.
The names of all occupants of the rental property must be given by the rental client at the time of booking. No person, other than those whose details are included on the booking form, shall occupy the property.
Price of rental will include:
* Cleaning of apartment inside and out prior to arrival
* Full set of clean linen and towels per named guests
* Clean linen change each subsequent week of rental
* Utility (electricity,gas,and water charges)
Not included:
* Mid-term apartment clean* (if required,extra charge applies).
The property owner shall not be liable for any water or electrical cuts, defects in or breakdown of any equipment or appliances in the property, but,shall on receipt of notice from the rental client, endeavour to repair or replace any such item within a reasonable time and the rental client shall not be entitled to any compensation.

The Costa del Sol region
The Costa Del Sol is an all year-round destination enjoying mild winters on the coast and beautiful summers. Perfect for lovers of golf, sailing, waterskiing, and skiing in the Sierrra Nevada. Visit Malaga,the capital of the Costa del Sol and second city of Andalucia. Within striking distance is Seville,Cordoba and a must is the Alhambra Palace at Granada about a 2hr drive away.
Hacienda del Sol is in the new golden mile of the Costa del Sol,it has an enviable position being very centrally located,halfway between Malaga and Gibraltar both 40 mins away.
Gibraltar has many attractions. Visit The Rock and the Barbary Apes, take a boat trip to see dolphins and whales or do some duty-free shopping in the ancient town. Don't forget your passports.
For a very different day-out take the ferry to Tangiers and visit the souk !
San Pedro- 5mins.Spanish town with very long palm lined Esplanade and Beach.
Benahavis-10 mins, mountain village full of really good restaurants.
Ronda. A fantastic mountain drive to the famous Roman town with the oldest bull-ring in Sain. Incredible views on the way up ! The museum here is a must.
The San Pedro de Alcantara / Atalya-Parque area
We are surrounded by 12 golf courses, out of the 40 on the coast. Sailing, surfing, horse-riding, scuba all in the immediate area.
A few minutes drive from world famous Puerto Banus, stroll the quay-side and admire the yachts of the rich and famous, frequent the surprisingly affordable bars and restaurants, the designer boutiques or the department stores in town,especially El Corte Ingles.For real people watching you can't beat Puerto Banus. Boats to die for,Fararis,Lambourghinis,Porches,Bentleys,Zondas,Rolls Royces. Best not to go !!
Estepona-10mins,Pretty old town ,lovely beach and marina.Visit Selwo Sarari Park.
Marbella-20mins,Designer shops set amongst cobbled streets and squares in the Old town. Plaza de los Naranjos ( orange square) is one of our favourite spots to grab some drinks & sit & watch the world go by ,day or night. As it's name suggests,it is full of orange trees and look for some very old Roman architecture.
Near to the apartment , if you dont want to drive, are an array of local bars, restaurants and shops. There is a bowling green club across the main road reached by a footbridge or a 2min drive.
On Saturdays there is a good market opposite the complex reached by the footbridge.We have a full list of local activities and festivals in the apartment.

Fly to Malaga airport. San Pedro is approx 40mins by car from the Airport along the AP-7 toll road (one toll is approx 3-6 euros) and the N340. Also we are only 40 mins from Gibraltar airport.

The bus service from the airport is cheap & efficient to Marbella then change, the bus stops opposite the resort.

We found the apartment to be absolutely wonderful, having everything we needed and more. It was great that you could catch a lift from the underground car park after parking up and get straight to the apartment front door! The complex was very secure & we felt safe at all times, having to use swipe cards and keys to gain access to the car park, gates to enter or leave the complex. The rooms were all of good size & the ensuite & family bathroom were fantastic. The kitchen was really well equipped and spacious! A real home from home! The ground floor pool side location was perfect for us with a young family and enabled us to keep popping back to the room to collect ice-pops, ice-creams for the kids from the large freezer without having to keep packing up our belongings from the poolside each time. We enjoyed full days with the children splashing around within a few feet of our sun-beds, whilst we had the occasional rare opportunity to chill out ourselves. There was never any need to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve a sunbed! The pool area was fairly quiet during our visit and there were lots of sunbeds available, which is certainly a bonus slap bang in the middle of the summer school holidays! We used the hire car from malagacar to explore the area & we visited lots of nice places such as Marbella, Benahavis & Peurto Banus, which were all within 15-20 minutes drive of the apartment. There is a fantastic restaurant 10 minutes walk away from the apartment called Cocomo's BUT book before you go! It's very popular & deservedly so!! All in all a fantastic holiday! We never usually return to the same place twice but may make an exception in this case! Don't hesitate! Book it! |
