The apartment on the first floor, is completely restored and furnished honouring the Tuscan style, and equipped with a large terrace (120mts) with scenic view over San Miniato and surroundings. Immersed in the uncontaminated countryside, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and woods. Ideal for enjoying natural landscapes and playing sports (trekking, bike tours, MTB, fishing), for tasting typical foods (olive oil, truffles) and wine. Strategic point for visiting the main fine art towns of Tuscany. The neighbouring ancient family estate of Sassolo produces wines (Chianti wine DOCG and red “Aqua Bona”), an excellent raisin wine and extra virgin olive oil that you may taste and directly buy from the producers.

The farmhouse is endowed with a traditional wood oven, and surrounded by a large common green area with a panoramic view on San Miniato and surroundings, with a lot of ancient trees and a terrace with barbecue grill.

An ideal place for a relaxing holiday dedicated to nature, it is quite a strategic point for visiting the main fine art towns of Tuscany.
Just 40 km away from Pisa, Firenze, Lucca, San Gimignano and Volterra, near Thermal Spas and fitness centres (Monsummano Terme, Casciana Terme, Bagni di Pisa) and to the Tyrrhenian coast (Marina di Pisa, Tirrenia, Castiglioncello, Viareggio).
In the vicinity there are a lot of Trattorie/Osterie (Genovini, la casa di Lucullo-Fidelia, et al.) and cultural and gastronomic events:
- May-June: “Open Cellars” in several local farms, ours included, where you can taste and buy wine;
- June: Pisa and its traditional celebrations among which the charming “Luminara” on the 16th;
- September-October: grape-harvesting and olive-harvesting, olive-crushing and new-oil (olio novo) tasting;
- November: “Mostra Mercato del Tartufo Bianco” (White Truffle Fair) in S. Miniato.

We loved the place, roomy, large, clean and beautiful views. Quiet, everything as promised. Lovely balcony. Great place for touring Tuscany."
