It is famous for black sand beaches and spectacular volcanic landscapes. There are attractions for all the family with theme parks, water parks, museums and entertainment gallore. San Miguel de Abona area
The apartment is situated in the idyllic Amarilla Golf resort, a former venue for the Tenerife Open. It is a relatively quiet area with horse riding, tennis, golf and a swimming pool all within the resort. There is wonderful marina and night life within walking distance. The Golf Course is surrounded by ten other resorts so you will be spoiled for choice for entertainment and restaurants. San Miguel is one of the oldest towns in the south of Tenerife and is steeped in local history and beautiful architecture. Local residents also organise weekly walking tours of nearby beauty spots - an ideal opportunity to get off the beaten track. The very lively Los Christianos and Las Americas are a short bus ride away.
How to get there
You can fly to Tenerife from most uk airports. The airport is aproximatley 3 kilometers away(10-15 euros in a taxi). Cheep flights are avaliable from www.flymonarch.com. Car hire is available from the airport.
