The Tuscany region
The typical Tuscan landscape most famous in the world is that of plains and hills, in particular in the area around Firenze, Lucca, Pisa and Siena, where more than in any other part one can enjoy the harmony which unites man with nature. Here orderly cultivations of vines and olives alternate, marked by rows of Cypresses and
by farm houses which give the visitor a sense of balance and elegant beauty.
Whichever the four seasons you choose to visit Tuscany, the average weather temperatures are as follows:
Spring – The countryside is beautiful with bright green fields dotted with colourful wildflowers and comfortable temperatures ranging between 65° F and 75° F
Summer – The busiest time to visit Italy with predictable sunny hot weather and temperatures ranging from 80° F to 90° F.
Autumn – A beautiful season with fine weather up until the end of October. For those seeking a more active vacation like walking or trekking the weather is comfortable with temperatures reaching 70° F to 75° F
Winter – is a good time to visit with shorter queues for museums and other sightseeing attractions with many sunny days and a winter temperature of around 50° F during the day.
