Situated five minutes walk from the town centre, the fully furnished flat is in an ideal location for restaurants, bars, shops and local amenities. The flat is on the top floor of a four storey building with views of the mountain sierra. There is parking outside the building and the flat is on a quiet residential road. The neighbours are all locals and very welcoming.

The apartment is not only a holiday letting but a second home and that's exactly how it feels when you stay - at home.
Bedroom 1 has a standard double bed. Bedroom 2 has two singles that can be pushed together and attached to make a wide double bed. Bedroom 3 has a single bed with an extra spare mattress under the bed that can go on the floor next to it.

We have a babies' paddling pool. There is no swimming pool at the property, but there are 2 public swimming pools in San Lorenzo de el Escorial: one at the sports centre and one at the golf course. The one at the Sports Centre comprises 3 outdoor pools: toddler pool, main pool and lane swimming pool (open end of June until September). They have 2 indoor pools as well which are open from October to June. The Sports Centre is 5 mins. drive from the apartment. You can also get a bus there (1 an hour).

San Lorenzo has direct regular rail and bus links to Madrid. It is an hours drive to the airport and about fifty minutes to Madrid. The flat is 10 mins walk from the bus station and 15 mins walk from the train station.
Currently, you can fly to Madrid from: London Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton (BA, Iberia, easyJet, Aerolineas Argentinas); Birmingham (BA / Iberia); Bournemouth (Ryanair); East Midlands (easyJet); Manchester (BA / Iberia); Liverpool (easyJet).

The apartment fully lived up to our expectatiions. Homely and comfortable. A great view from the balcony. Nice place to stay,it had everything you need. near from restaurants,and places of interest. Specially from de San Lorenzo del Escorial. Near from the town center,banks,etc. The guide we were provided from the owners was great for us. |

We stayed in the appartment in San Lorenzo over the christmas period in 2011 - the town of san Lorenzo is in a beautiful location and the appartment itself has wonderful views over the mountains from the front balcony. The appartment has a lovely home from home feeling, with lots of personal touches which made it a really relaxed and comfortable stay. In San Lorenzo the monastery of el escorial is quite awe inspiring and well worth several visits, the christmas full size nativity scenes throughout the centre of the town were also quite something to see and made it a very memorable christmas stay. We also did several walks into the nearby mountains, and to the city of Segovia with it'sancient aquaduct and castle was well worth a visit. A wonderful holiday and a lovely comfortable appartment with lots of helpful information supplied by the owners, i would highly recommend. |
