About the home
Apartment Veronica is a spacious apartment with a large terrace - there are gorgeous views both across the bay of San Juan de los Terreros to the sea and the mountains and has a large communal pool.
Inside the apartment, which is air conditioned throughout, there is a modern and fully equipped kitchen, including cooker, microwave, coffee maker, family sized fridge freezer and washing machine. The ample living/dining room has a dining table with four chairs plus sofa and matching chair. Patio doors lead out on to the spacious terrace which has fantastic sea and mountain views. Probably the best views in Terreros!! The southwest facing terrace captures the sun from mid morning through to sunset.
The master bedroom has a double bed and large fitted wardrobes. The second bedroom has two single beds and also fitted wardrobes. We politely request no smoking inside the apartment.
The first floor apartment accessed by both stair and lift overlooks a very large communal pool with a small adjacent children's pool.
The apartment complex is gated and secure. Access is gained via pedestrian gate and a ramp leads to secure internal doors. Childproof gates control access to the pool area which is restricted to residents only.
The apartment block has been built to a high standard by Noravel a local builder with an excellent reputation.
The village of San Juan de los Terreros has fantastic sandy beaches with a long palm tree strewn promenade. There are numerous bars and restaurants the whole length of the village and promenade with the supermarket and shops situated on our side of the village.
San Juan de los Terreros and Almeria enjoy approx. 300 days of sunshine per year. It is a calm and peaceful resort much favoured by Spanish families themselves - surely no higher recommendation!

There is a large living area including a dining table, and a fully fitted kitchen. The two bedrooms both have fitted wardrobes. One bedroom is a twin bedroom with two single beds and there is a Master bedroom with double bed. The family bathoom has bath with shower attachment, W.C. and vanity unit, there is also a bidet.

Large communal pool with sun loungers and sun shades. A children's pool is adjacent to the main pool. At the entrance to the apartment complex there is a popular Bistro serving snacks and drinks. The apartment complex is approx 20 mins walk from the main beaches, bars and restaurants.

English speaking representative provides meet and greet. Information within the apartment about the local area. Very nice small tapas/Bistro bar located on the corner of the apartment complex run by a very nice Belgium couple - highly recommended.
Conditions
We require a 20% non refundable deposit to secure the booking and the balance no later than 6 weeks prior to arrival in resort.
We require a 200 pounds Security Bond which is returned after satisfactory inspection of the apartment after departure.
Linen and towels are not provided in the apartment but can be hired at a cost of 15 euros per person.
Electricity is included in the rental cost.
Discounts available for rentals of 2 weeks or more. (except during the peak season i.e July/August
Long term lets considered at discounted rates.

Just outside the village approx 50 mins drive is the of the 'Cabo de Gata' a prime area for bird watchers and nature walks.
The closest town is Aguilas, a proper Spanish town approx 10 minutes drive away. With lovely squares to have coffee, churros, cerveza or just watch the world go by. Aguilas is a working town with a harbour, markets, fantastic food markets and tapas bars for that authentic Spanish experience.
Approx half an hour away by car is the town of Lorca, the nearest rail station, for those who want to travel further afield, trains connect through to Alicante, and further north through to Barcelona.
Small villages dot the coast road, with spectacular scenery and small restaurants which are just waiting to be sampled - lunch in Villaricos, dinner in Garrucha, the choice is yours.
Costa de Almeria enjoys approx. 300 days of sunshine per annum. The village of San Juan is perfectly located being on the border of Almeria and Murcia. There are numerous small villages and towns to explore, including Aguilas, Lorca, Garrucha, Villaricos, - all with different but equally excellent reasons to visit. The best way to explore is take a map and follow your nose.
Festivals run throughout the summer, both in San Juan and also further afield and local guides are available in the various restaurants etc within the area.
