The pretty and traditional town of San Juan de los Terreros, with its blue flag beaches and Spanish restaurants and tapas bars can be seen from the terrace and are only a short walk from “El Cid”. There is a Bistro/bar open on the complex serving good food and strong Belgian beers and is proving very popular!. The apartment is approx. 4 kms. from Mundo Aguilon an 18 hole golf complex and there are another 4 courses within a 25min drive of "Terreros" including the famous Desert Springs championship course.

The apartment is in a safe and secure development complete with a large swimming pool and children's pool. Each apartment is south west facing ensuring the sun is on the terrace from morning till night. El Cid has patio table and chairs and a large parasol situated on the terrace and two reclining sunbeds.
Wifi available in the Bistro below the complex.
English speaking agent lives within 50 mtrs to assist with any problems.
20% deposit secures the booking.
10% discount for two week bookings. (except during peak weeks in July/August)
We require a Security Bond of 250 euros payable on arrival and this will be returned after satisfactory inspection of the apartment.
Linen and towels are not provided in the apartment but can be hired at a cost of 15 euros per person.

The Costa de Almeria region
The Costa Almeria region of Spain is one of only a few parts of Spain that remains traditional and untouched from mass tourism. The area is renowned for the golfers, walkers, cyclists and relaxation seekers rather than the young “clubbing” generation. The northern coastline of Almeria includes the cosmopolitan resort of Mojacar, the lovely old town of Vera, the traditional fishing village of Garrucha, the charming San Juan de los Terreros, and finally Aguilas,which is actually in Costa Calida area, is a large Spanish holiday resort all within a 25 min drive of each other.
The San Juan de los Terreros / Noravel area
Set in a Costa renowned for having one of the driest and warmest climates in Europe (averaging 320 days of sunshine a year), this makes it an ideal location for golfers and holiday makers alike.
The village boasts some of the best fish restaurants in the region. You will be able to soak up a little of that Spanish lifestyle of eating late, drinking a bottle or two of wine and then following up with a gentle stroll along the beachside promenade.
We have some of the only Blue flag (Calidad Turistica) beaches in Andalucia with golden sand, gently sloping into the warm waters of the mediterranean. If the sun gets to you the newly built promenade offers beach bars, or chiringuitos as they are locally known, and cafes for a plate of locally caught sardines, an ice cream or a nice cold beer.
A fantastic new golf course (Mundo Aguilon) has just opened in the hills behind the village which has great views over the bay as well as a top notch course. Watersports are also available on the beach in the height of summer.
The village itself is small with most amenities along one road, including a couple of well stocked supermarkets, and approx. half a dozen traditional restaurants along with Chinese and Italian fare. These are all no more than a 15 minute stroll from the apartment.
The closest town is Aguilas (8kms) - a traditional working port with lovely tree-lined squares where you can wind away an hour or two with a cafe con leche watching the doves in the trees just soaking up the atmosphere! It has a great food market and tapas bars for that authentic Spanish experience.
Further inland is another of our favourite towns - Lorca. Again good shopping, lovely cafe culture and beautiful architecture. Also a large hypermarket called Eroski is handy!

Approx. 100kms from both Murcia and Almeria airports. Easyjet, Jet2, Ryanair, Bmi Baby and Monarch to name a few airlines servicing these airports. Alicante is a further 80kms.
