Villa Le Ginestre is in a hilly countryside area about 680 m above sea level and at about 2 km distance from the medieval village of San Ginesio, which is rich of history, art and traditions. Here it is possible to stroll among medieval alleys, see the village walls and visit the Spedale dei pellegrini, the Collegiata, San Liberato Monastery or assist, on the 15 August, to the Palio. In the surrounding area, one may visit Fiastra Lake or Monti Sibillini National Park, with its Museaum, Abbey, Caves, Waterfalls and Glacier. The most curious may also assist to the Palio at Montegiorgio or go to the Opera at Macerata, without forgetting about all the numerous events and festivals organized throughout the year.

San Ginesio area

How to get there

Take the motorway direction Civitanova Marche. Once in Civitanova, take the motorway to Macerata until Belforte del Chienti. In Belforte del Chienti please call the owner Ms Sciacca on the phone +39 329 22 71 238, in order to tell her you’re arriving. Then go towards San Ginesio. About 3 km before San Ginesio, you’ll find a fork in the road and see a big pink house on the right and a Enel (electrical) point on the left. Turn left in the white road and after approx. 500 m you will find the only fork in the road towards left, take it and you will find Villa Le Ginestre.

Per la sua felice posizione panoramica, il borgo medievale di San Ginesio è detto il balcone dei Sibillini. Il comune, citato dal Touring Club e classificato fra i borghi più belli d’Italia, si affaccia sul versante settentrionale del Parco nazionale dei Monti Sibillini, che nella bella stagione si tinge di prati multicolouri. Una tavolozza che si ammira comodamente dalla grande terrazza della Villa Le Ginestre. L’imponente fabbricato sorge sui fianchi di una collina in Contrada Vallimestre ed è stato recentemente oggetto di un attento restauro conservativo.
All’esterno, sono rimaste immutate le caratteristiche più tipiche e suggestive dell’architettura rurale: finestre irregolari, archi di varia forma e dimensione, facciata in mattoni e pietra a vista. All’interno invece lo spazio è stato suddiviso in quattro appartamenti, tutti con ingresso indipendente dal giardino e collegabili tra loro. Il più panoramico, che si apre sul terrazzo ad abbracciare la vallata sottostante, è composto da soggiorno, cucina, una camera e doppi servizi. Le altre tre unità dispongono ciascuna di soggiorno, cucina, camera e bagno.
L’attuale proprietaria, che ha curato con gusto il restauro, ha messo in risalto i materiali antichi della struttura senza alterarne le caratteristiche più affascinanti. I soffitti hanno travi di castagno a vista, i pavimenti sono in pianelle di cotto fatto a mano, le scale in legno e mattoni. Pareti in pietra si alternano a muri intonacati di bianco, conferendo leggerezza e luminosità alle stanze, tutte splendidamente esposte.
L’ampio giardino esterno con piscina completa armoniosamente la struttura, permettendo di godere appieno del fascino della campagna con la sua ricca vegetazione: alberi di ulivo, querce, roverelle, fiori di tutti i colouri e naturalmente le ginestre.

CHECK-IN PROCEDURES

Check-in is available on Saturdays from 5 pm to 8 pm; should you wish to check-in earlier or later there would be an extra charge of 100.00 euros.

CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES

Check-out time is within 10 am. Should you be late in checking-out, there would be an extra charge of 100.00 euros.

DEPOSIT

As a form of guarantee, we need you to provide us with your credit card details (credit card number, expiry date & card holder); in case of any sort of damage we would charge the given credit card.

EXPENSES NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENT

The cleaning of the villa at the end of the stay costs 120.00 euros, and has to be settled when you settle the rental expenses. Cleaning of the villa at the end of the stay means routine cleaning, therefore the villa needs to be returned as it was at the moment of the arrival; in specific the kitchen and the furniture placement. Otherwise an extra charge of 100.00 euros would apply.

Bed linen and towels required have an extra cost of 15.00 euros per person, which has to be settled when you settle the rental expenses.

Gas and electricity have an additional cost depending on the amount used, and will be deducted from the credit card given as guarantee.

Electricity: 0.50 euro per unit

Gas: 6.00 euros per cubic meter

You can confirm the booking either with your credit card details or through a bank transfer.

In case you decide to use your credit card, please be aware that the total amount for the renting will be deducted from your credit card 30 days before the arrival.

In case you prefer the bank transfer, 30% of the total amount has to be transferred to our bank account when you make the reservation. The remaining 70% is to be transferred to our bank account 30 days before the arrival.

We accept cancellations without any charge up to 60 days before the arrival. In case the cancellation is made later than the 60 days, please note our cancellation policy as follows:

For cancellations between 60 and 30 days before the arrival the fine corresponds to 30% of the total amount.

For cancellations between 30 and 15 days before the arrival the fine corresponds to 60% of the total amount.

For cancellations between 15 and 0 days before the arrival the fine corresponds to 100% of the total amount.
